we get calls from this number everyday...when I call back, it's for Insight Teleservices and gives you an option to have your number removed from their list.  I've done this 3 times but we still get calls....any answers?

They told me they were the michigan Childrens Lukemia Org. (NOT TRUE) told them not to call and they hung up on me before I could even finish talking to them. When I tried to call number back it rings then disconnects. Looked them up and they are liars, report them to do not call and then the next day I'll get a call from a different Michigan #, plus do not live in michigan.

Very obnoxious. I reported them to the FCC. I would encourage you to do as well. If the FCC gets a pattern of complaints, maybe something can be done. Here's the link:

When calling the number back, an automated system identifies the number as Insight Teleservices, a telemarketing organization that raises money for charitable, political and non-profit organizations, all of which are exempt from the Federal Do Not Call Registry. Their website at http://www.insightteleservices.com/ indicates that they also telemarket for other, for profit organizations. It is my understanding, that even non-profits, though exempt from federal do not call laws, are required to keep an internal do not call list, and that if you ask to be placed on their internal list, they are **supposed** to oblige. Using their automated system, I've asked twice to be placed on their do not call list. Third strike and I report it to the FTC and FCC.

DaveInMinneapolis is correct that 3rd-party telemarketers calling on behalf of DoNotCall-exempted parties must maintain internal DoNotCall lists, add *home* phone numbers to it when requested by consumers, and honor the request for 5 years, just like for any sales telemarketer.
    http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.shtm states:
"29. Are calls from political organizations or calls soliciting for charities covered?
Political solicitations are not covered by the TSR at all, since they are not included in its definition of “telemarketing.” Charities are not covered by the requirements of the national registry. However, if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 ."
    http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tcpa.html states:
    "Company-Specific Do-Not-Call Lists
Whether or not your home phone number or numbers are registered on the national Do-Not-Call list, the FCC requires a person or entity placing voice telephone solicitations to your home to maintain a record of your direct request to that caller not to receive future telephone solicitations from that person or entity. The calling company must honor your do-not-call request for five years. To prevent calls after five years, you will need to repeat your request to the company, and it must honor it for another five years (and so on). Your request should also stop calls from affiliated entities if you would reasonably expect them to be included, given the identification of the caller and the product being advertised. Unless your home phone number or numbers are registered on the national Do-Not-Call list, however, you must make a separate do-not-call request to each telemarketer from whom you do not wish to receive calls.
When you receive telephone solicitation calls, clearly state that you want to be added to the caller’s do-not-call list. You may want to keep a list of those persons or businesses that you have asked not to call you. Tax-exempt non-profit organizations are not required to keep do-not-call lists."

I get calls from this number all day long and one from Lancing, MI.  I spoke with a manager earlier in the year and asked to be removed from from there call list. He stated that he will.  Everything has been good until about a week ago.  I am fed up with this and I am going to report them.  When you answer the phone no one says anything and hang up.  I consider this harrassment and I will do something about it.

I get repeated phone calls from this number 734-369-9220, over and over.  I have complained in writing to the company I believe responsible.  I have tried to block the number, but somehow, they are able to get around my block.  No one is ever there....noone leaves a message.  After 4 rings, they hang up, apparently 'computerized' to know I have a recorder that will answer.
