Always get calls, no one answers. Told them not to call anymore.  They still do.

This shows up as Ann Arbor on my caller ID with the number 713-890-9607. No message, no nothing, This is the first call I have gotten from this number.

I keep getting messages on my answering machine every couple of days where the telephone is ringing on the answering machine and then a recording that says if you like to make a call please hang up and call again. If you are still having problems, contact you telephone representative. When I do a *69 to see who called was the number 734-369-9220  comes up. I feel like someone is trying to use my phone to make other phone calls. I do not understand it all. I am not in any type of collection problem, but since there is no real message but the one stated I have no idea why these calls. I feel like I am being used or harrassed.
What gives?

I too have gotten numerous calls over past few months from Insight Teleservice, using multiple phone numbers showing on caller ID.   I don't pick up and they don't leave messages.   Here's a thought ... if those of us who want their calls to stop would perhaps answer and quickly blast a very loud whistle into the phone and then hang up on them... maybe they wouldn't call any more.    I'm very tempted to do just that. Yes I'm that annoyed by them.   And am on do-not call registry as well.   Pretty bad when you have to shut off your phone to stop these unwelcomed _____ from bothering you.

I have repeatedly told them to stop calling. They will then use a different phone number to call from. I don't have any answers on how to stop them.. I have also reported whatever number they call from to the national do not call list.

No message

They called twice today, with 2 different numbers. I put them on my block list. Hopefully that will be the end of it.

they call me 2to 4 times a day they leave  no message.

Please stop anyone from calling me from 734-369-9220.  I do not answer.

Here's THESE jokers again! From Ann Arbor MI. Last time it was LANSING, MI. The usual hang up. Sounded like it came from a fax machine as the playbackhad that hummmmm. On DNC but does no good! We're Unlisted even & STILL they bother us. GRR! This was Sat. 6/18/11 at 12:52 PM CT.

If you are tiredc of getting the call, do what I did. If I get calls fro a number that I don't knopw, I put my cell phone on speaker and tghen let them listen top my TV set. Seems to get rid of them

daily 1 or 2 calls and when we answer no body to talk to

Received a call today.  I usually do not answer these types of calls, but I was curious because I live in Michigan.  The guy said he was from Michigan Disabled Veterans or something like that.  I have contributed to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) before, so this is probably where they got my name and address, and hence found my phone number.  He asked if he could send me a "pledge card" for a donation.  I told him I was financially unable to donate at this time.  He was very pleasant about it.  

What upsets me is that these charities sell/trade my information to other charities and I get numerous phone calls and mail solicitations.  Makes me not want to support ANY charity for fear of being inundated by requests from other charities.  Also, CHARITIES ARE EXEMPT from the Do Not Call List.

This was a non profit organization wanting donations  and said they were exempt from the national donot call list

I am being harassed by these people too.  If the address on page 2 of this is correct, then they are blocks away from my home (the address listed is in the 248 area code, not 734).  
I called back today and asked to be removed from their call list, which was automated.  I feel certain that I've done that before but I didn't keep a record.  But if they call back...I might just have to show up in person!

If someone repeatedly calls you and you ask them to stop and take your name off their list and they continue to call you try this. Tell them you will be contacting the local police and they police would be contacting them very soon.
I have received calls like this in the past and talked with my local police and they helped me once by calling that number and telling the people on the other end to stop contacting me or they would be served with a warrant to stop the harassing phone calls. And I can tell you from this experience after being on teleconference with the police and the caller, they about peed their pants apologizing.

Just found out that this number is for a professional calling company; Insight Teleservices out of southfield Michigan.  I thought it was for Illinois Parlazed Bererans and gave them  a donation.  Had I know that it was a professional call I would not have give them anything.  I feel that they are not really presenting themselves correctly.  I know that the money they collect does not all go to the charity they are calling about.  If I had know at the time I would not have give.  I be telling any charity that calls me no donation.  I will only give to those I know are doing it on their own.  No more phone pledges.
