Just in case anyone wants to know, the Wall Street Journal has done a few reports of job recruiters and found some interesting statistics: only about 0.8% of jobs are filled via recruiters and job boards like Monster.com and the like.
Most job boards are merely farming resumes. They might have one or two positions at best, but post 10, 20 or more, with widely varying qualifications, the purpose is to farm a few hundred thousand resumes. These are merely dumped into a database. Their "claim to fame" is the size of their database, not their connections.
The expected gullibility by these shysters is amazing, but, as we can see, wholly validated by so many of the muddle-headed replies. - The-Truth replies to Alina SaghirScammers come here all the time claiming they're legit. Thankfully people will see all the posts here verifying that it's a scam and ignore your shill post. Really, the more shills post, the more they look desperate to perpetuate the scam, and thus they offer more proof that they're full of BS.
- Matt replies to Unknown| 1 replyActually, it is not a scam. It is a very common practice by staffing firms. They provide contract staffing for a number of clients. They search job posting sites, (Monster, Indeed, CareeBuilder) and if your experience and skills are a fit for a job they have posted they will contact you to see if you are interested. I have had 2 jobs this way and am currently interviewing for multiple jobs right now, most of which started by recruiters contacting me.

- memphis resident replies to Yeta| 1 replyI have received all the calls, emails and voice mails. My thing is I can't understand anything they say they are too foreign. And the company is out of town with no recruiters or buildings in Memphis Tennessee so what if they are legit and I start working for Medtronic and something goes wrong with my pay how the hell am I going to handle that issue. I was excited about a job at Medtronic until I found out info tree is the temp /contract or placement services. Noo way👎👎👎 its a scam. Nine times out of ten if you are doubtful there's a reason

The thing is, staffing agents around here tell you upfront about how much you are making and where you will be working. And usually its temporary, temp to hire or full time. Not sure if I should attempt to email back and call or stay away and keep looking.- Caller: InfoTree
- Anil Sharma| 2 repliesIt is sad that you guys are picking on genuine recruiters who are trying to help find you jobs. Whether you call back or not it your problem. I have gone through job search and know how frustrating it is not having a job. I got laid off twice and it was Alina who helped me find jobs. Was the pay great, not really, but after working with other contract employees at these Fortune 500 companies, I realised it is not Alina's fault. Even the other contract houses pay around the same. She did her best to get the best she could. They are pretty well connect with some of the best companies. I would go to her anytime. Good luck with your job search.

- Yoda1725 replies to Anil SharmaRecruiters, temp agencies, etc., always tell you that they are helping you. that is far from being true. They are only looking out for themselves. If you are being paid $20/hour, the recruiting company is paid at least the same amount for your labor, typically more.
Although, you are a shill, and this is a scam. - So replies to Anil Sharmahow does one get a job in IT or some other professional field and not have a well developed grasp of the English language? Because you write a lot like your friend at this criminal organization.
- Jennifer replies to memphis residentIt's crazy I got a call/email from "smith" which is an Indian man for a job at Medtronic as well. This is such a scam!! I'm glad I didn't provide him any information
- Mel replies to MattIt is a scam they called me with a job opportunity for Siemens and I already work there. No recruiter needs to know your birth date and SSN . The job descriptions are as staged as there scam. - Siemens is a huge organization and there job descriptions are not written in very poorly translated English, which appears to have been processed by an online translator program. It's identity theft waiting to happen...
- Mel replies to Tony SpencerTony is it or perhaps Alina?!?! It's a scam!!!!
- Mel replies to CrashIs definitely a scam, I was contacted by the phone: (734) 446-6948 - I called back just to see who answers and the number doesn't even have a business voicemail - what legitimate recruiting business does not have a professional voicemail for its candidates...
- Sheryl SI have received 2 separate emails from different people for the same job.
This company is not listed with the BBB! They are a scam! Do not give them any info. She first just asked for my my birthday day and month. They have an Indian accent.
