Job Title & ID : Procurement Analyst (496648)
Location : Broomfield Colorado 80021
Duration : 03 month(s)
The Procurement Analyst supports the Procurement and Contract Manufacturing Team in market and spend analysis, supplier negotiation and performance management, and internal purchasing performance analysis that is accurate and on time. The Procurement Analyst will build and manage supporting databases and reporting tools that monitor supplier and competitive dynamics, market trends and pricing movements in order to ensure competitive supplier pricing.
Etc, etc. Almost impossible to understand what the caller was saying. My suspicion is the caller was from a boiler room operation in India. Kept asking for my resume. How can he need my resume when the email states twice that he has my resume from Monster? Asked again and again if I were interested? Told him I needed more than two minutes to investigate. No such job posted at the location listed. Long list of questions in fractured English. Infotree service website lists many Forturn 500 hundred companies as clients. Well, then, surely the North American operation would have people proficient in English.- Caller: infotree
- KayNow, I understand these ppl are scamers. My first call was from Technology Venture and they claimed they could get me an interview with Freddie Mac not only they asked me to send them an update resume also they want me to fill out a consent form with my last 4 ss#.
I hope they are not doing something illegal with my SS#. Infotree is the second one of those scamers. How to tell legitimate from scam?

- sick-n-tiredSeeing that this thread has been going on for quite some time it makes me wonder if it's an actual scam or if they're just unscrupulous recruiters. Which is highly likely. A vast majority of recruiters are not sanctioned by the companies that they claim to be recruiting for. So be vary careful! Do not ever trust anyone who asks for any identifying information of you other than name, phone number, general location. And always fact check them, if possible obtain the company name of the the job. Call that company and ask if they work with any recruiters and if so then who.
I have found that many of the recruiters do nothing more than "skim" job postings from other sites. This is easily discovered by web searching for portions of a sentence of at least 7 to 8 words long. If it does not turn up right away try adding some specifiers ahead of the partial sentence. Use a city name and/or state, and job type. And quite often the jobs they skim are outdated and no longer available.
Always search for reviews on the recruiting company that they claim to represent. Don't reply to emails or click on the links within the emails. Quite often the embedded email links are just tracking links used to confirm your existence. Clicking on them will insure you receive even more spam. Be wary, and be safe!- Caller: alleged tech recruiter

- JRCalled me from 734-938-2462. Fast, nearly-unintelligible male with thick Indian accent. Immediately asks for my salary, and then my last four of SSN (I refused). They've called 5 times in the last few days, so I decided to pick up the phone. I replied to their "offer" letter and told them to take me off their call list. These appear to be "miracle jobs" for the desperate, promising interviews and higher pay than is consummate with the job.
