This number called this morning.  I didn't recognize the name or the number so instead of letting my answering machine answer it and confirm my number is legit, I did as I always do when I'm home with these pests call.  I pick up my phone and immediately hang it up.  I guess It's time I spend the money and buy a call blocker to handle these jerks.  I feel sorry for the elderly who are scammed by these predators.

stop being a wimp and take some sort of action against them. The do not call list does not work for illegal companies.  Do not answer, so what does that accomplish? Nothing!!  They just call again.  You have to make it clear that there is no purpose for them to call you. How? Several ways.   It you just want to try and get off their list, tell them you do not own a car. Another option is to waste their time.  Yes, it will require expending your time also. Play along with them. Yes, you are interested in the warranty, make up details on a car you do not own, never say you own the one they are calling about, if they address you by name say no this is XXX, ask many questions, get all the financing details, ask where they are located, their phone number, if they ask for a credit card number say you they were all cancelled when you filed for bankruptcy and cannot get any now, then tell them to mail you everything so you can review it. I have strung some of these idiots along for over 30 minutes asking question after question, giving fake name and credit card info. Some times I say I have to go get the info they are asking for and just leave the phone on the counter and come back 20 minutes later and they are gone. NEVER, NEVER GIVE THEM ANY VALID PERSONAL DATA.  Realize they may already have some, especially if they know what car you have or had.  They may have gotten your data from your state motor vehicle department.  Yes, many states will sell your data. Or if you want to fight back go to walmart, in the boating section and find a distress compressed air horn signal device, about $10.  Next time they or other scum bags call, get to a person and give then a blast.

I am so sick of getting phone calls from these jerks who are constantly trying to offer car warranties.  I have been adding these numbers to my block list every time they call.  Whats really screwed up is they keep spoofing phone numbers and using different ones.  Pretty soon, I'll have half the numbers in the US added to my freakin block list because of these [***].  Seriously thinking about changing my number.
