- AlanReceived a call from Credit Services at 760-526-8596 initially an animated female voice responded this is Heather and stated that I had limited time to respond to lowering my credit card interest rates to 6.9 percent... I pressed "1" as instructed and spoke with a male who had an accent. He stated because you have paid on time they could lower a reduction on interest rates... when I asked if he was directly representing Captial One... he hung up.

- Stacey| 1 replyI also recieved a call from Credit Services at 760-526-8596. Identical to Alan's comments - same thing after automated voice- press one for lower 6% rate then a live person with heavy accent stated since I pay all bills on time for the past 6 months you are eligible for a lower rate of 6%, but when I asked him "What Credit Card in particular are you talking about?-
Where did you get your information from because I do not have any balances on any cards......he hung up.- Caller: Credit Services
- LynCame in as Credit Services. Started to listed to the recording fro Heather. Hung up.

I went to donotcall.gov and filed a complaint. Everyone else who gets called by this company should do the same. - M. HubbardUnwanted call. We are on the do not call list...

- NYCCalled 406PM, no message left. I don't answer phone numbers I am wary about. If it was important, they would've left a message.
- Caller: Credit Services
- JonI got the call, it said press 1 to talk to someone about lowering my interest rates. I pressed one, told the person to hold on while I got my credit card, then put him on mute. He hung on for almost 10 minutes before hanging up.

- In PAI got the same call as many folks here, but since I wasn't home, all I got was heir number on my Caller ID.
Here's a nice trick for getting rid of these con-men: record the three-tone beep phone companies use for an inactive phone number. Put this three-tone beep on your answering machine as the very first thing it plays when receiving an incoming call (warn friends and family about this ahead of time, though, as it confuses some of them). Then, after one second, record your voice just giving your normal answering machine message. In my experience, this totally screws up the telemarketers' dialing software so that your number gets automatically treated a a dead number, which the software then blacklists and never calls again. Over the years, I've had many, many of these scam telemarketing calls occur once, but then disappear after my answering machine handled them.

- Jodie replies to caller ID| 1 replyTHIS CREDIT CARD COMPANY SCAM TARGETS MANY SENIORS. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM OR GIVE OUT ANY INFO TO THEM.
- NHThis is a scam. They offer to lower your interest rates to 6% but do not specify on what credit card. When I asked who he worked for he replied "Visa and Mastercard". Ummm, right. Then he proceeded to ask for the 3 digit security code on the back of my card without even telling me what card. Obviously this is a scam to get security codes for fraudulent activity.

- Janet WurtingerI would like these calls to stop. I hang up right away anyway because I don't want to give them any information.

- tiredofcalls replies to CFCReceived same call. I pressed 2 then hung up. when I called number back, recording said it is an unallocated number. Don't know what this means but these calls are really annoying.

- richard| 1 replycalled, when i said `hello' and `hello' again...person hung-up. checked out the number on a secure website and it's credit services in carlsbad, ca.
- Annoyed replies to richardCaller ID showed "Credit Services"
I listened to the recorded message and then pressed "2" to be removed from their contact list. Instead a live operator came on line. I asked him specifically which bank he was representing and he hung up.
I have literally been getting these calls for years and I report them on donotcall.gov EVERY TIME. A lot of good that has done. - annoyedI just recieved a call from Credit Services and had the exact same recorded message from "Heather" as others have noted. When I pressed option 2 to be removed from the list I got a very thick accented man. I told him to remove my name from their list and they immediately hung up. I just filed a complaint on donotcall.gov as well. Luckily my phone has an option for call block.
