When I got a call from these people, as soon as they started to ask for information that a legitimate company should already have, I told them that I didn't trust them and hung up.  I sounded too much like a scam to get credit card information and/or identity theft.

These are harvestor calls.  They are looking for actual businesses, senior citizens, or FAX machines.  The Fax harvesting is why you get calls in the middle of the night with no one there.  Since you KNOW that you'll get a person if you press two.....Have an air-horn or a ref whistle ready.......Press #2 and have a blast!!!

I received a call from phone number 760 526-8596... no message left on my answering machine. Had the number and "Credit Services" on my caller id.
I went to the website   freephonetracer.com  to trace that phone # and the info below is what I got:

I  got  the  same  call   and it  show up  unknow   760-526-8596   they  call  you in  the morning hours  when  people   of  sleeping

call came in at12:43 PM caller ID said SPAM 05-25-10--did not answer

Same old story.  Caller ID posted it as "Unknown", but the recording identified it being from "Card Services".  When I pressed 2, as instructed, to end the calls, a person came on and started a sales pitch.  When I told him we are on the no call list and not a customer, he hung up without saying anything more.

Filing a complaint with the FCC Do Not Call registry doesn't seem to do a darned thing, these scammers just keep calling and hanging up when you tell them you're on the DNC list.  Does anyone know of another avenue to pursue?  I'm about to resort to an air horn then next time they call me.

I just got a call from them too.  It started with the "Hello this is Heather".  I just hung up.  The funny thing is that the caller id reads "SPAM 05 25 10"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want this to stop now!

I did the exact same thing. I asked what specific credit card he was calling in reference to. He tried to explain that he was for visa and mastercard. So I asked again, what specific credit card. He hung up.

Got the call today. Caller ID listed as Spam 05 25 10

I got the same thing happen two days in a row. Caller ID rings in as: credit services.

Caller ID says: Spam 05 25 10
Called 11:29am 06-04-10
No message left

Got a call this morning from these people.  Never heard of them before but my phone company must have had dealings with them before because my caller ID showed the call as "SPAM"... Good going phone company !!!

At 2:10 pm was on the phone when another call came in read the call ID it was SPAM 05 25 10.  Needless to say I did not answer

Caller ID listed as SPAM!!!  Wow!  Didn't answer; no message...was it spam or "SPAM"?

My Caller ID is showing them as "CELLULAR CALL 760-526-8596" so I picked up and discovered it's the same old viloators fronted by Heather. Immediately reported them online to Do Not Call. Also hit 1 and told the guy they're in violation of federal law and they must stop.

I had a feeling it was a scam. I got the same call about 10 - 15 minutes ago. As soon as I heard lower my credit card rates I knew it was a scam. Someone trying to scam people into giving out their/a credit card number.

I just hung up but in the process of trying to find info, any info at all about this number and whether or not I should call my states atty., in Illinois that is. That's when and how I found this site.

I guess as long as I'm here, I'll point those who may happen on this site to another concerning thing. This one is a website. http:/www.spokeo.com

Type in your name and see what comes up about you and see what info can be gained if one pays the "membership" fee. Granted, some, a lot of info is and can be wrong, but it's scary to think and know this site, and many others are getting, keeping/storing and sharing information about someone.
