I got a call from this number and these guys are nasty. there has to be away they can be found. the profanity they used and said to myself and mom was terrible. turned the number to telephone company.

They charge some freakish high rates like 3-9 bucks a minute from jail call, more than phone sex !

Just recieved an suspicious call from the voice similar to a  south African male probably in his 50-60 age group with a not so silent female partner in the background who pulled my tel info off my real estate website. His enquiry was related to a real estate transaction whereby the ownership of the property was put in my name 1 day prior to the stipulated completion ... end of story asked him where he got my name and he said from the www.
Asked him where he was calling from -he said from the town I live in- I said I would not be interested in ever dealing with someone i did not know in person and this is where he and the silent partner were taken back and the female in the background I could hear say something like she was startled!!! omg.
ANYHOW I AM GOING TO MOVE FORWARD AND PUBLISH A PUBLIC WARNING TO MY ASSOCIATION AS WE DO GET THESE SUSPICIOUS POTENTIAL CLIENTS ON A SOMEWHAT REGULAR BASIS. I feel worried for the elderly in regards to SCAMMERS!

This is just someone calling from a free long distance program you can access from your computer...I think someone is playing with you lol

Just received this call approx. 1/2 hour ago. I was taking a nap and didn't hear it. I have about 15-20 post on this site because of the all the scam numbers. Forget this DNC list, don't bother. Do you think crooks are worried about calling numbers on a list? I don't know anything about google phone numbers. The only google account I have is th get into my u-tube account. It has nothing to do with this iPhone telephone number. I just wish these people would jump into the Pacific Ocean and float out to sea!!  This number has the largest number of posts I have  seen on this site. > 3000 complaints! Why can't they be stopped??

got a call from a man that I could not understand he said that he needed me to go to my paypal account to get a refund on my computer software I hung up the phone he called back and called me a mean name which I just hung up again!!!

I have got 4 calls from this number, he is saying some absolute vulgar sex things. I was going to call police but it sounds like a waste of time if these are fake numbers. thanks

Hi,  I am trying to figure out how to configure and use google voice on my chromebook.  I began using google voice and have made outgoing calls only, with no problems, but the page I call from is funky in that there is simply a box in the lower right corner of my gmail/google page that has a keypad that I can use to dial and call.  I don't recall being asked if I wanted to choose a number, or that I was ever given a randomly assigned telephone number.  I can't  find a settings page or anything else where I can see what my number is, or how to patch people in to a conversation or use the other features.  After searching awhile to no avail I called my cellphone from my computer and this number came up (760-705-8888).  I then googled the number and landed on this forum.  Since this is a generic number that is apparently not specific to me (I tried calling my computer from my cell phone but the call didn't go thru), I can't use it to have others call me.  In other words, I still don't know my google phone number.

Do you have any place you can point me to figure this thing out?  My technical ineptitude is showing but I'm not an idiot, and I am getting frustrated at my inability to figure this out.  Whatever advice you have is appreciated.  Thanks, Pat

I received a call from an Anthony Jones from this number stating they got my information from an Amazon affiliate as I was looking for "Work at Home" opportunities

I immediately said "Really? - ALL of those "Work at home scams are just that - SCAMS. DELETE me from your database!"

He hung up. I tried to call the number back - and my call "could not be completed as dialed"

I answered call. Male said " I am a member of the Grand Lodge of Freemasonry" in Washington state and I want to know if you know why members are leaving and what information do Deliverance Ministries have that teach against Freemasonry, I won't discuss the details of the sordid and sick conversation with him except to say he confessed "I am not a Christian" but "doing research on the Scottish Rite branch of Freemasonry. What a screwed up person he is. And I really now do not believe his story one bit. Fellow - come on down to Texas and try your LIES on a LONE STAR STATER...we will show you how Texans deal with liars and scammers.

Just got a call from a nasty loser talking about his junk.  what a creepy moutha f'er.  I hope this guy gets hit by a bus.

Keep getting calls from this number. I tracked it down and came up with this number as its originator.
408-772-2213 Said his name was Thomas Huang. Beware; he makes death threats.

Adult male called at 7:30 AM saying he was my grandson, "James."  ("separated at birth). I hung up on him. You can set up phone line to not accept anonymous phone calls.
