Got a call from this #

I got a call just a few hours ago from the same number with a man with a heavy Indian accent.  He said he's not trying to sell anything but goes on to say that he is doing a survey on whether my house has an alarm system - I told him I wasn't interested and just hung up. I hope by now whoever created this numer from Google/Gmail has figured out the fact that it's being used for scamming purposes and not what the "fun" purpose they intended!!

This guy with who is obviously from India, Pakistan, or whatver, called me today, and continues to call me regarding my computer.  I didn't give any information to this guy, but he says my laptop is giving out all sorts of inofrmation, and that i should have warning messages on my hard drive. i would love toknow how he knows something is wrong with my computer, considering I'm a complete stranger.... what an idiot...

I just got a call from this number - an East Indian man saying he was calling from Toronto but said his number was different number than the caller ID.  He said he was with an Internet Server Management company contracted by a government agency and I had a computer virus...he wanted me to go through some steps to find a Warning or Error message in one of system files (or something) and wanted me to change some things - I did not.  It was rather weird - I only hope that others who get this call do not make any changes to their operating system...no idea what would happen.

he called me at 3:45pm and asked if i have car for sale, which i do, then wants to know when he can come and see my car, after that wants my full address, with my full name, i am sure he want my information, be care full from that kinda scamers, do not give anyone your info our the phone, just dont answer threre phone calls,

Got a call today from 760-705-8888 and a guy with Indian Accent wants to know what services I have with my phone Co.  I immediately gave him a hard time, telling him if he was calling from my phone company, he should already know what services I have.  I told him to call back when his number was recognizable as being from my phone provider, and I hung up on him.  I then reported him to my provider, who was very happy to hear about this SCAMMER.

He has in the past, called me about my Windows.....and my Microsoft.  All within the last month. Last time, because I didn't recognize the area code, I asked him where he was calling from, and he replied "Toronto" (wrong)  So, I asked him, since when was 607 a Toronto Area Code?  He answered "Since 1968" and promptly hung up on me.   Hahaha, I just love to give him a hard time, as he really is just a dumb crook.

Received call yesterday from a man with a very heavy Indian accent saying that his mother wants to rent our vacation rental home and she needs my email address. I tried to advise him that she could make an inquiry directly through the website where the rental is advertized however he kept on and on insisting that he needed the email address. I don't know how he knew we had a vacation rental. Stupidly I gave him my email address just to get rid of him. After thinking about it, I remembered that I had a message left on my home phone # in early December with the same very thick hard to understand indian accent saying that this message is for me, giving my full name and that  his name was Dan Morgan (garbled) calling from Lee Soloman, State Attorneys Dept. Austin Texas to make me aware that some kind of charges were filled against me as well as my SS# and that I would have to face the legal consequences at some courthouse in Ca if I did not call back at the phone # he was calling from which was (512) 614-7992.I have kept the recording of this message on my computer. Please contact me if this might help to stop this person who is obviously trying to swindle anyone he can.

They first asked: Is this the Di Biase family? We answered yes. And then they said: F*** the dibiase family, and hung up

They called my elderly grandmother and told her I was in a Canadian prison, they pretended to be me and even knew my first name. This is strange because I have an unusual first name and most people don't know how to pronounce it unless they have heard it before. This really scared both her and I because, like I said she is elderly and she sounded really scared when she called my parents to check on me and she had a little trouble calming down. Whoever did this is childish and ignorant beyond description. I mean, who has no life like this and does crap like that? They could have really hurt my grandmother.

I just got a call from this number although the guy didnt sound indian but wanted to buy my car (as i posted it for sale)! He was very creepy and i definitely had a red flag about a min into the call.

I got several calls from this number, and when I answered finally and asked who it was, the kid said his name was "Jam". He knew my name. He was really soft-spoken and sounded like he was crying or something. I asked what he wanted and he said "You.". I told him I didn't know who he was and he seemed to get more and more upset. I kept telling him I didn't know him and he just kept saying he was sorry. At one point I heard a door open and someone said something to him, but shortly after that I ended the call. He said "Okay see you later" and I told him that no, in fact, he would not, so he said "Then I'll see you never.". After that I told him to go f*ck himself and I hung up.

I dont have a gmail account.  How can i get them to stop phoning my cell.  I find it very frustrating.  They don't leave a message or anything.

I got a really annoying call from this saying my computer was doing things it shouldn't do and the fellow was East Indian and there was so much noise in the background sounded like a call centre....

I told him if there was a problem I am sure my internet service provider would have called me.

This person really needs to stop calling me. Its getting on my nerves, and if they continue to call, I will call the police.

I just recieved a call from this number. This is google phone's generic calling number, so I knew that it wasn't any actual company calling me. He sais that my computer was sending out a bunch of junk mail, and that its being tracked by some database. I would say its a scam right away, but the callers actually Called me by my first and last name which really freaked me out. How they could have gotten my name is beyond me. I hung up on them. Seconds later I recieve another call but let it go to answering, this threatening prick starts saying "Mr.__________ You are trying to avoid this, you cant, you will see- I will be calling the ISM and im going to cut your internet in 6 hours." Then it goes silent, then he says F****** _______. It was hard to hear but he hung up right after. Defenitely wierd, the only thing im worried about is how they got the number, as the name signed with my landline is not my name, yet they addressed me.

Early morning Saturday call to my cell phone. Didn't answer   googled the number later
