I had a call from this number yesterday evening. Indian man said he worked for an affiliate of Microsoft and said my computer was sending out junk e-mails. He wanted me to turn on my computer and he would walk me through fixing the problem. The sound quality of the call was not good so I was suspicious. He was very insistant that I turn on my computer even after I told him no. Wouldn't answer my questions about when the e-mails were sent, just kept saying the last three weeks. I suspect he was going to direct me to a site where you could get access to my computer.

This number called me today and left a vociemail saying "We liked the party last night, we should hang up now" in between every word was a giggle of two girls prank calling. they called me before this time it was at 10am.

Got two calls at my business from this number. A man with a very thick accent--sounded eastern Indian--from some company that does digitizing and vector conversion of artwork for the garment embellishment industry.

He asked to speak to the owner (me, but I told him the owner was not in) and then asked about our embroidery work (we don't do that). Then asked about converting artwork to vector file format (I do that myself) and then said thank you and hung up.

I could hear background activity that was obviously from a call center. This could explain why there are so many different experiences from this number posted on this thread.

Area code is from California.

i just got call for that number. when i answer, there's nobody speak to me.  wtf [***] caller

My mother received a call from this number at 11:08 AM from a man with an Indian accent concerning a discount on our power bill, she could barely understand him which she told him and then he ended the call, She was suspicious because if our power company calls it says the name whereas this one came up as an Unknown Name and like others here my parent's number is not listed anywhere online in association with either of their names.

this number called and asked for my hubby, and asked if he could confirm his CC# for his playboy subscirption. told her he was a hustler sorta guy and i could not understand why he would order her magazine. no return calls

some one called from this # saying I owe 8,000 and how would I like to take care of this debt.
so beware of  this sh**.

Just filed complaint with FCC and Google...
Advised Google that I will be filing a Harassment complaint with AG office in the morning.
And will also file suit against Google if they don't get control. Further, I don't care if they can't control who calls who. Of course they can, but I'm not interested in how it's done, it's Google's system and they best get control of it.

So take a few minutes and file a complaint; first with FCC and then Google...

Best way to stop this from getting out of hand would be to pass on the "REAL NAME" of that person who has the account. Not their gmail name..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received a very nasty call, extremely obscene which my wife dealt with.  How can we stop this abusive intrusion?

Two calls.   Didn't answer.   No message left.

Got a call from this number, said they were from VACATION INTERNATIONAL.  Someone with an indian accent said they were in my hometown and wanted to offer me a free vacation.  they only had my first name.  Found it odd that I got this call soon after I posted an ad on craigslist with my first name and phone number.  Hung up.

GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY AND WENT ON FOR A WHILE FIRST CALLED MY HOUSE NUMBER THEN MY WIFES CELL NUMBER AND WAS VERY NASTY AND NEW MY WIFES NAME AND NEW I HAD KIDS AND THE CALLER WENT ON HOW HE WANT TO DO STUFF AND HURT MY FAMILY HAD POLICE OVER AND WE ALL NEED TO FIND OUT WHOS BEHIND THIS NUMBER AND STOP THIS SICK PERSON NOW

Some guy just called me too, with a indian Accent. saying i was spamming him with emails and [***] and that i should get my pc cleaned He even said "is this the ..... residence?"....i just acted dumb to him on the phone and with with every question he asked, i  said Uh Huh and then hung up... he prob wanted to say more but didn't give him the chance. ~Plz don't give out any personal info~

It depends... It might be a prank from someone you know and they just need Google Voice to do that for free.

i have recieved 25 calls on my cell phone and 17 on my landline how do you stop this?

Ok....So, this number has called me the past three mornings at 1:30 a.m., every hour for four times.  This is so ridiculous!  Please stop!  They don't say anything and just sit on the voicemail breathing.
