calls several times a day no one on other end and m\no message, very irritating

calling everyday, morning, noon, and night for sister, Mary.
Got a call today, told them Mary was deceased. called back 15 minutes later and ask to speak to her again. I guess they thought I was lying. I called back to ask to speak to a manager and was put on hold for five minutes.

I hung up and called back again, got a CSR named Michelle, asked who her supervisor was. She asked me if there was anything she could help me with. Told her my sister, Mary died of breast cancer, brother number you are calling now has cancer, please do not bother us again. Thank you. What rude and unprofessional person would call back to ask to speak to a dead person again after you have told them?

Robo calls everyday & night -when someone answers they hang up on click the tone-over & over- weekeknds late at night- sometimes when answering a fax comes on- its horrible..

are aggressive in their collection efforts.
I told them that I can't work and have no money. They asked for the balance of my checking account.  It is negative $32.
They call everyday.  It is always a different person.  They always act like
They didn't know about the other calls.
They are harassing me. I have started document every call. Recording them as they harass me. I play the tape back to one guy and he played his own tape for me.  He says all I have to do is pay them and they will leave me alone.

keep asking for people with first name Richard then some weird last name, have asked them to stop called, she said she take our number off the contact list, time will tell

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
