SS will never call you and ask for your SS number. I hope this doesn't lead to a bad outcome. Recommend you go to each credit reporting agency and place a "credit freeze" on each of the three main agencies (Transunion, Experian, Equifax)

    Transunion: https://www.credit.com/credit-reports/credit-bureau/transunion/
    Equifax: https://www.credit.com/credit-reports/credit-bureau/equifax/
    Experian: https://www.credit.com/credit-reports/credit-bureau/experian/

This was not the SSA.  When you ask for a callback they ask you to state your name and they record it.  Then when they call back you hear the recording and know that it is them.  Jesus has nothing to do with this.

I requested a callback after missing an SSA appointment call, then this number called me three times during my appointment. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Happened to me as well for a call back. I did hear my recorded name first, then after I gave them the information, I heard her say we were disconnected. I called back  and the call could not be completed as dialed.

I just called Social Security and talked to a Rep. She said they have numbers that are dial out only so that they have phones to make call backs. You can't call in, they can only call out and they ask for your SS# and DOB to look up your record. If you heard your recorded name, it was legit.

7714445409 is the CALL BACK number of social security. I just asked about medicare enrolment & clearly answered that if i'm still working actively with the current company i work with, there's no need to apply medicare yet. Not at this time, maybe after i retire

it is social security calling back if you don't want to wait on hold. They record your name when you initially call and play it back when they return your call to verify

Since Medicare doesn't call you and since it is illegal per their rules and regulations to cold call you then it was nothing more than a scammer calling you.
