- I Won $450,000 yeah right...Another example of how we are doomed as a society. In the economic state that we are currently in, you would think that people would have more concern for one another. The storms, unemployment, people who struggle daily need every cent of their finances. I say all of this because I too received the check with Notification "Award" letter. Obviously it's a scam. But you never really know right??? So I called and asked for Becky Jones (I actually know someone by that name who is a friend on a certain Internet Social network). I wonder if that person/company is somehow involved with this? Anyway when "Becky" gets on the phone (foreign accent), I ask her to inform me of the next step in the process. I told her that while she did that, I was gonna Google the company. She then hung up. I called back twice, but by then I am sure I was on the troublemaker list. Please don't fall for this scam, don't think you can out con them either, they have their bases covered. As mentioned earlier, in another post, Have fun with them. Give them a taste of their own medicine!
- ...wow....My grandmother received a similar note, but she got 2! I was like ...wow...

About 30 miles from my home on the Wells Fargo Bank here in Atlanta. Promo manager is Lisa Walker.
- MarianVald replies to Jeff| 1 replyGot a letter from Sure Financial Incorporated saying I was the 2nd prize winner of the USA Mega (international sweepstakes) and that I had matched the first five lucky winning numbers and won 250,000 dollars. The check looks amazingly legit...called the number and got Lisa's voicemail. Dis not leave a message. - Lee Wolfson| 5 repliesMy mother in law, Jean Patt,,who is 82, received a check from Sability Inc with the exact same info as Marian Vlad. It is dated Jan 17, 2012. I wonder if these creeps are targeting the elderly?
- Suzanne replies to MarianValdI also received a letter from Sure Financial Incorporated, located in Los Angeles. Along with a supposed check for $4,850.00. I was advised to contact my claims agent David Williams at 1-877-8060. There was also a form to fill out. Does anyone know what I can do about this? Surely it is not legit, and these people should be stopped. Many people can't afford a bounced check.
- JC replies to Lee Wolfson| 1 replyI received a $4850.00 check today. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! If it seems 2 good 2 B true... it's a scam.
My check was from Oliver Sprinkler Co., Inc, King Of Pressia, Pa. No return address on envelope, postmark from Portugal. Turning this over 2 1 of our 3 TV stations for broadcasting this scam. - MicheleMy dad got a letter with the same info about winning 2nd prize in this "scam" of a sweepstakes. The real kicker is that it was addressed to my DECEASED step mother that has been dead since almost 2 yrs ago. When my dad called to tell these creeps that she had died this David Morgan guy told my dad that it didn't matter. He claimed that as long as my dad would send them a copy of her death certificate and $500 dollars they would "transfer" it into his name. Thankfully my dad prays before making any big decisions and Thank God for direction. My dad is 63 and living on a limited income and could have easily fallen prey to this scam. Like JC posted "If it seems 2 good 2 B true...it's a scam.
- Jonas Chang replies to CHYNAI just called the Wachovia Bank, N.A. and they told me that there is no 'Oliver Sprinkler Co., Inc. as an account and I gave them all the info on David Morgan. and this Lisa Walker. Both are going to get so much bad publicity as well as Olivers Sprinkler Sytems and I hope to hear that these reptilians land in jail. I'm plastering there scam everywhere I can. The were'nt expecting my wife of being a legal secretary. and one 3rd of my friends are Lawyers.
- Jonas Chang replies to Lee WolfsonEither that and/or people on SSI
- Jonas Chang replies to JCDo it JC, I got the exact same letter and check, but as posted earlier I don't think the expected my ex-wife of being a legal secretary and a third of my friends are lawyers. so.... but I left a message and am plastering this david morgan's name all over the internet so good one.
