Never give anyone information about your credit card. Were you really going to do that, if so you need some help. This is a scam, don't you listen to the news or read the papers. NEVER NEVER GIVE out any information

    Very irritated now.
Have just received several (two in the last half hour) of these calls today.  Also our cells. This is absolutely ridiculous . We never answer calls that we don't know -if it's important people will leave a message. Looked up the number - really wish they would get caught and fined -heftily!

This is ridiculous.  These people keep calling my cell phone, changing their number every time.  And I'm on a prepaid line, so I lose out doubly:  once to get the call in the first place and once to check my voicemail.  Someone ought to launch a class action lawsuit against these people on behalf of people like me so we can be reimbursed for the airtime they have effectively stolen from us.  I realize some of these companies are wising up to that and saying "You can press X to be reimbursed"--but the thing is, YOU have to have answered, not your voicemail.  Pressing X does no good if the call is done.

called my cell, which is on the do not call list.  From the looks of things, its the fake cruise credit card phishing scam using a fake survey to get around the rules.

Every morning around 8:30 am I get a phone call from this number  1 - 778 -654 -3235. I have never answered it as I do not know the phone number and  think who would me calling me at that time of the morning? I have issues with another similar phone number and it was as I would say some nutbar  and I am not interested nor do I trust them . So I will not answer their calls.

Once again a strange number on my phone that woke me from a deep sleep.  being a shift worker that is it for today, now I am awake and won't get back to sleep.  I answered and when they started their bs  I let them ramble on, saying excuse me, a couple of times to break in to the conversation.  Finally I got a chance and said I am sorry you didn't let me speak if so you would have been told that my phone is being tapped for illegal phone scams and I am obligated to tell each and every one that calls this information.  This time  they really had a great chance to trace everything including the conversation and pinpoint just where you are.  They got ya!!!  That hang up was the loudest click I have ever heard in my life ...lol lol...now I have four different phone numbers that have never called me again.  I really should put it on my answering machine......".You have reached so and so.......your call is being recorded and the phone is being tapped because of excessive activity beyond my control from phone scammers.  Call at your own risk."

Yep, scam! Second time I answered and asked how they got the number. No clear reason, but I've won a cruise! Asked " This is Constable Jones and you've called a murder crime scene and we've traced your line, we need to speak to you more about this incident as you're a suspect because you know this number" ( that part was joke scam I saw on YouTube, just had to try it) He hung up fast and they never called again. Oddly, haven't gotten any scam calls from any number for couple of months now. Hmmmmm?

For the past 4 weeks I got no "telemarketing" or "scammer" call me. But right after the provincial election over, calls start to came in again. All those 4 weeks I only got political robo calls form 2 major parties. At first, I just block them right after I pick up the first call. But strange things happen, they begin to switch phone number to call me. Using the same method as the "telemarketing" or "scammer". In curiosity, I research all those political robo call numbers. The numbers that the "Blue" party use were previous calling people for debit consolidation just a month ago. The robo call numbers use by "Red" party were calling people for air duct cleaning and Bahama Cruise before.  From those numbers, people at the forum say those call center were in India or Pakistan. I always feel skeptical about this theory, cause they never call me on Labour day, Good Friday or Victoria Day. Are all these days also a statutory holiday In India and Pakistan too? Furthermore, I think there is a rule say no outside of the country help/assistance for the provincial election. So that make those call centers are located within Canada not outside of our country.  I did call both candidate asking them to tell me who they hire for the robo calls. One candidate say they did not hired anyone to call me(what a liar). The other candidate say he can not tell me, instead what he can do for me is to ask the call center to remove my number permanently form their data bank.
Maybe that's why CRTC never can get rid of the call center.
