People like you make the world a better place. - JimI am getting these calls everyday, twice a day from different numbers showing up on the I.D, att100.com att250.com att450.com att500.com... But how do you stop this!!!, when its a different number every time, sometimes even using local area code instead of 1-800...

- Pat replies to klI keep getting these messages too!! These calls are using up my minutes!! How do you get them to stop calling?? I tried to call back the phone# that came up on my phone, but it said it can not be reached!! What the$%&@! FRUSTRATING!!!
- DaveI've been receiving these calls from different 1800 numbers 3-4 times a day saying AT&T owes me anywhere from $100-1000 for my next bill. I keep blocking each number, but it doesn't matter they just keep calling. Anything I can do to make this stop??? Getting close to just changing my damn number again.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JermINDIANA replies to EmmaYes to me too with an iPhone and a new Verizon account. The # showed up without any zeroes and just "800" so Being at 12:40 in the morning I was 1/2 asleep and thought it was seriously from Verizon. A robot woman said "Important, your account has been hacked and personal information is at risk. Press 1 for Internal Security department" so I do and it hung up on me. Has this version happened to anybody else too? I never got these calls with my Droid Razr and now I get a TON with a phone number that I haven't given out yet. :(
- GreekSwagReceived a miss call from 800-000-0000. Did not answer and a voice mail was not left. Thanks to all who shared this was an AT&T scam. $450 off our bills? I wish!

18009292702 - Billget 2-3 calls a day from 1800*******.... number changes every time. i did get a 1 week break between the 250 and 800 off next months at&t bill... havent had at&t for well over 10 years. i called at&t they said they have no promotions or anything (which i all ready had guessed) and i asked if them to forward the information on to their legal department. this is the most annoying thing on the planet.

Is this possibly the registrant? I know the voice mail sounds like a man. - Patronia replies to JGot two calls today and a woman left a bad voice mail each time about a $23 reward from AT&T (apparently the scammer has lowered his/her expectations). Shows up as "unknown" and not the 800 number. I also get daily calls from area codes 207 and 979. Calls back to these numbers reach numbers not in service.
- mistermassive1Comes in on my phone as UNKNOWN - But from what I am reading I am in the same boat as you guys.
The message I get is half cut off each time, 2-3 times a day. It says "log into your AT&T account now to claim you ($200-950) award"
I knew it had to be a scam as the dollar amount just kept changing with each call. My only issue is if it is a scam why would they simply ask me to call AT&T over and over? Would it be funny to someone to have people calling to ask? Also, it appears 100's of thousands are getting these calls each day.- Caller: Said it was AT&T but who knows.
- ben replies to Sashahi there.
