- Al| 1 replyReceived the call. Obvious bogus number so I ignored.
- Al replies to AlI just noticed they did leave an automated voice mail regarding the lower interest rate CC scam.
- jScam! Scam! Scam! It's someone trying to lower interest rates on credit card. Told him I didn't have any credit cards. Then he wanted to know if I used skype or email. When I said no, he asked if I had a computer. I asked him if he was now going to try and fix my windows because that's the oldest scam out there, but nice try. Through all of this he kept asking me how old I was because you know thats relevant to what he's trying to do. A legitimate company shows a legitmate name and phone number on call display. Not this garbage!!
- KathyThis number called to reduce my credit card interest or something like that. I pressed one to be transferred to a live agent. I kindly asked to be put on the do not call list and the guy hung up on me. [***].
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ji have been receiving calls from this number for a few weeks. obviously a fake number but i was curious to see who it was. recording of a female introducing self as Heather, from credit card services (no company name). I hung up right away, but surprised to note number did not call me back right away; that never happens to me. Of course, I don't need to mention I don't have a credit card nor am i in debt.
- WayneCall left voice mail about last chance to lower your interest rates.
No caller name.- Caller: no name left
- MoeThe record message I got was for my mastercard account and they could help lower my interest rate ...... they never said which bank's MasterCard .....you guessed it, I don't have a MasterCard ....should have not answered it like my gut was telling me.
- ChrisReceived a call from +44 800 000 0000 ... through my Viber app. Rang the number back and they answered as Prudential, an insurance firm in the UK. They weren't helpful and had no clue what I was on about. They asked for my personal details but I refused.
- Caller: Prudential
- MontrealerGot a call at 10:41 am, EST, in Montreal, Canada. I didn't answer, my vmail was turned off, and when I called *57 to trace and block the call (and report it to police, if I chose to do so), the recording was "A complete trace of your last caller could not be done. Please contact your phone service provider."
I get a scammer call almost every day, mostly different #'s, but there is some repetition (I programmed a few in my phone to display "Scammer" so I wouldn't have to think twice about answering). Feel bad for the poor suckers who fall for these scammers (and of course there must be people out there, otherwise this strategy would not be so wide-spread). - MelBling replies to VCWhen you pick up the phone identify yourself like this ..New York City Police Department. Detective Karma speaking... Then when they speak tell them that they had better remove the departments number from their list... It works like a charm... and you can almost hear them gulp on the other end of the line.
- Anonymthis number showed up on my phone today, no message though, just another to block on my trusty panasonic,, call never gets thru, if they try another time then it goes on the forwarded list to another number that doesn't exist. Bye bye scammers, waste your time cuz I'm not wasting mine.

- MichelleReceived a call from this number at my office saying I was eligible for a lower interest rate. The message said to press 1 for an operator and to press 2 to stop further calls. Of course I pressed 2. Then it said that was an invalid option. So I pressed 1, and when an operator came on I asked them to remove me from their list. He yelled 'why don't you want a lower interest rate' and so I asked which bank he was calling from. Then he hung up on me.
- AlLeft a blank voicemail. 30 seconds later 204-852-4567 tried to call me. Obviously related.
