- NunYaThey just called my Verizon work cell TWICE in rapid succession, and since I didn't recognize it, I hit the power button to silence it without sending it directly to voicemail. The 2nd time a microsecond long empty voicemail was left.
I'm not even a customer of CenturyLink, and even if I were, they wouldn't have my work cell number, so their attempt to call is illegal since they have no reason.
And lastly, caller ID (much like an e-mail From address) spoofing is pretty easy, so it might not even be CenturyLink calling you. The fact that it does go to CenturyLink when you call that number doesn't mean that's who called you.- Caller: Supposedly CenturyLink customer service
- KellyCentury Link - I am a customer. Legit call.

- MJDIt is CenturyLink. I have a service issue they are working on and I missed a call from this number on my cell. The service tech I am working with left me a voice mail with the next step to resolve the problem.

- jumbo mighty replies to NelsonCentury link don't make those type of calls. Just talked with them the service number on my phone bill.
- jumbo mighty replies to jd1. Century link don't make those type of calls. I called the number on my phone bill but they do tell you how to block them. MICROSOFT don't make those scam calls either, only crooked people pose as them as they so often do pose of other companies also. It's against the law to call people like that and companies cannot do that, so you have some crap people posing as others. Crooks. They show one number and they are calling from another number.....crooks.

- JRI just looked in my Centurylink phone book and 800-201-4099 is the number for residential-instalation and service. I have a repair ticket and they are supposed to be here tomorrow morning as I have no dial tone but the phone rings in. I'm sure that's why they are calling.
- Caller: Centurylink
- No apologee necessary replies to RcooleyI have Never been a Century Link Customer and same thing they tell you to seriously consider calling them and then they mention We Request you not use your computer before calling ?? Does that sound like some company that has legitimate business with you ? to me it is a Huge Red Flag only one reason to request that right!! cause they don't want you to learn about the Truth of their Intentionz. with that being said I don't think rippin on someone because their believing its real is up to us.......but I do agree it is a Scam! So overall I am with Mortimer.
