- Deadwood replies to LoriI received the same exact postcard. I'm not giving them my credit card number. If I could send the money I might risk 8.95, like a bet in Vegas, but no no no in the trash it will go.
- Faye Stephens replies to Mike harvard| 1 replyI got the same Post Card in my mail today with the same supposedly a jewelry parcel worth $50.00. Must pay shipping & handling of $8.95, Must call 1-800-459-4348. and have credit card ready. I thought it was a scam but called anyway to try to get some info to report , and told him I did not order any jewrelry. He became angry and said "nobody said you did". He told me I was rude and hung up, He did not give his name just National Parcel Service. I could find nothing on the internet either.

And then I hung up. LOL

- Maia replies to LoriMy mother received the same postcard. They are scamming elderly people and sending them this. They also demand that you can only call the number to "claim" your parcel and to have credit card ready. No address, no way to contact them, no explanation of how it one suddenly has jewelry that the post office won't deliver until a price is paid.
This is obviously a scam and I"m willing to bet once they get your credit card information that you will lose a lot more than that $8.95 you supposedly owe on something you didn't buy. Also the post office and no courier ever charges you to pick up your package. It's called shipping and handling and you pay the person or business you purchase something from that when you buy the product.
Also the number given is 800-459-7602, so if you get calls from them--don't answer. I hate these people with the burning passion of a thousand suns for trying to target vulnerable people like this. - JOEPARTS10 replies to G2| 1 replyI just received the same National Parcel Services card phone number 800-278-2474. They are unrated by Better Business Bureau. I say beware.

- Concerned about scam replies to LoriI received the same card. My husband passed away in Nov, I think I was targeted because Valentines Day is around the corner. But my husband would never have purchased me jewelry on the Internet or with a value of $50.
- Rafael RenderosJust received a card, I have a parcel of jewelry "waiting" for me, I have to pay $8.95 for shipping. I asked several questions, and in the middle of my questions, the operator hung up on me.

- Virginia replies to John| 18 repliesI don't know if this is the same type of co.(scam) I also rec'd a PC from National Parcel Services claiming they're hold ing a pkg for me with a value of $50.00.you have to cal a 800 number immediately to receive this pkg. You won't have to pay for it, JUST an assessment of Shipping and Handling fee of 8.95, with of course a credit card, visa or M/C, granted it's not a whole lot of money under 9.00-BUT you have to give a credit card number.!! (to pay for that small amount).
I've been burned before, not on this small thing, but still I'm not giving my info .out to some company that I don't know, even tho I called them( ONLY because of the card they sent me) that's just like someone calling me cold and asking me for some info, I told them" no thank you". Don't need the worries!! or the so called item worth $$.
