Got the postcard today from "National Parcel Services", but the number I'm supposed to call is 800-461-7152. I figured it was crap, but this confirmed my suspicions.

I received the card.  It is not a scam.... Its what's called a promotional offer that many companies use to introduce their company.  It clearly states everything on the card.  I read these posts how people were tricked or scammed... You people decided to call and pay shipping.  If you're not interested, why did you willingly give them a credit card.  When I called they told me what the item was and that I had to pay shipping.  When I told then in couldn't they said thank you and hung up. People reading this... do the intelligent thing and throw it away rather then post about how you think its a scam..  The authorities aren't going to do anything for you so don't waste your time.

Postcard received today stating a package is waiting for me valued at $50.00.  The category of product is jewelry.  In order to claim the package I must validate my identification and pay shipping and handling of $8.95.  The phone number is 1-800-277-8219.  I did not call.

Yes it's a scam, once they have your credit card there going to sell you an additional items (cross sell) then put on a auto ship so they can charge your card multiples times and then there going to offer you more gifts and club you with more hidden charges. Owner of the call center is Jeff at AMS in biddeford 207-571-8084 and Jen at Cornerstone Marketing in 707 Sable Oaks Dr, South Portland, ME 04106 (207) 854-2645. call them and tell them how you feel. They like to trick seniors into giving there credit cards.

I'm not as upset as you guys are, getting kicked out of your office and now in the basement of a crack house. I guess it will be easier to find junkies to work for you now. Just like your owner and management.

It is a scam! They sent me one of their post cards too. I changed my credit card number since because after I thought it over the guy didn’t make sense.  I gave him my card info thinking they were on the up and up. They wanted to sell me a necklace and earrings that were worth $50 dollars but would only cost me $8.95 plus $8.95 for postage which was $17.80. That way they get your charge card number plus your $17.80. I later ask if this was a jewelry store and he said in a loud voice,"Lady, Look at the card! it tells you who we are!” When I got the post card, I thought it was something they thought I ordered.
It was the same name and address you just quoted. I reported it to my credit card company and asked them to not accept that charge because I found later it was a scam.
They make you think you are receiving a special bargain just so they can get your card number and probably sell it.  it was a scam!! These people are too lazy to get out there and get a real job!
How can they live with themselves?

Any post card received by US mail with possible fraudulent offers on it should be turned over to the local post office with a request that the postal inspectors take a look at it.  This could be some form of mail fraud.

They are using a new phone number 1-800-4598186 although I understand they have used lots of different phone numbers on the cards (like a post card) they send out. It is from National Parcel Services. You have so long to call whatever phone number they give you to get this $50.00 Jewelry. You call and they say it is a fresh water pearl 18'' necklace with garnet pendants around it. No cost only the shipping and handling which cost you $8.95 and they will even send you free the earrings to match if you want for only another shipping and handling cost of $8.95 more. I questioned them a lot he finally said it has been in many catalogs. I ask which catalog so I can go online and see the necklace. Of course he couldn't come up with one. THIS IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT !!!  HANG UP!!!!!!
