Left a VM that said they were Verizon and I was qualified for an update. They asked me to call back on the phone number that wasn’t Verizon

You seriously think that the state of Texas is calling you and that they will stop calling because you asked them to by posting here?

Claiming to be from Verizon asking if I needed help with checking out as they noticed I had been shopping online. While quickly looking this number up when it started ringing, I went ahead and answered. As soon as I got the same line as everyone else, just pretended that I did already checkout and asked if my order didn't go through. She acted surprised and said oh, I'm sorry, this is just an automated call. When I asked if my order went through, she said it probably did and wouldn't confirm anything. She just ended up hanging up on me. No broken English accent or anything and refused to give me her name.

I was surprised they left a message.  Telling me to call back a different number than the one that showed up and isn’t even affiliated with Verizon.  LoL. “Hello my name is Robert I'm calling Verizon wireless Internet order support team we're just giving you a quick call cause it looks like you might've been on our website _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ see if you had any questions we can answer for you to see if you needed help placing any orders to do please feel free to give us a call our number here is 321-210-9381 thank you and have a great day…”

Call on mobile phone from 800-220-1614 caller ID showed “POTENTIAL SPAM”.  Of course I did not answer. Message left from nervous-sounding man who identified himself as “Eric” just following-up on my sales inquiry for 5-G, to answer questions, et cetera.. (5-G inquiry NEVER  HAPPENED!!) He left a different call back number ...  NOT VERIZON # ..    >>> DELETE!!

An unintelligible voice saying something about a "cart" and asking to call back at 407-795-5065 no way!!  Blocked!!

Called and also texted me a link. Leticia from Verizon. Very suspicious, call back number is not associated with Verizon at all.

They called from 800-220-1614 and left me a message to call him back at 734-790-5787. He claimed he was with Verizon and had some "exclusive offers" for me. *shaking my head*

800-220-1614.  I received a call from this number and the caller identified herself as from Verizon and said they had a promotion for an iPhone for no cost with a new plan. There was a lot of noise in the background with people talking and speaking over one another. I believe this was a scam call because Verizon is not my carrier and it just felt very untrustworthy.

Called and said they were from Verizon. Had left a voicemail asking if I had any questions about the mobile app. I did not call back. Verizon would never call and ask customers for information. Suspect scam call.

She called me and said her name was Virginia and wanted my information. She knew my first name but wanted my last name rather insistently. I called Verizon after refusing to give her any additional information. Hers was not a legitimate call from Verizon! Definitely a phishing attempt.

This was a call from Verizon’s sales team. It’s kind of irritating that I can’t look up devices on their app without them calling to ask me if I was interested. If I WAS interested, I would have purchased it, calling me right after I was online just makes me want to buy it from Samsung.

Got a call from this number today, didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. They left a very well spoken message in clear English. Said his name was "Matthew" from Verizon and was calling about some available upgrades to my account. I'm thinking this was a very good deep-fake or someone paid to read a script.  He left a phone number and said to text with any questions. I know Verizon absolutely doesn't do this so I started searching the Internet and found this website.

Came up verified Verizon. I said hello. They said something about Verizon then there was a beep, then silence.

Received a call at 3 Pm, didn't answer but they left a voicemail, this is Rami from Verizon, just reaching out to all our customers to see if you are having any network issues or if you have any questions about our current promotions, call me back and we can go over your personal offers. Definity a scam, cellphone companies never call you for promotions!

Called to "update " my Verizon account  🙄

Someone called claiming to be from Verizon and looking for someone named “Evie” when I said there was no one here by that name they asked me who they were speaking with. I repeated Evie was not at that number and they asked for my name, I hung up

Scammer pretending to be Verizon asking if I “needed help upgrading my phone.”
LOL, what? I hung up and blocked the number.
