I think U.S. Bank "card member services" calls from several 800-type numbers for collection purposes. They have been calling my landline 3-5 times a day for weeks, maybe MONTHS, asking for my ex-husband by his first name. They never identify themselves, and when I ask for further details, say it's "private." The first couple dozen calls, I was polite, telling them I'm on the National Do Not Call list, that my ex-husband hasn't lived here for years, and that they have the wrong number, please don't call me again, please remove me from your call list. Many, many times the person on the other end PRETENDED to remove my number. But they continue to call, probable MORE FREQUENTLY. I even checked my credit report today to make sure I was scammed and put on some sort of credit card without my knowledge. I am getting fed up with this caller and I wish there were some way to penalize them for the harassment they are committing.

They have been calling 8-15 times a day.  AFTER 9 PM.  and on all holidays and vacations.  I am not in the state I live in right now and they are calling my cell phone.  This is annoying. I have kept the list of the calls on my cell phone along with the times of the calls.

I am getting calls from this number.  It is US Bank.  I have had financial problems due to ill health.  They are calling every hour to every half hour, from 8am to 9pm, including Sunday.  They are calling my family and neighbors too.  They send letters saying I claimed to have an attorney, which they say I am false about.  I have never told them such a thing or told them I am in Bankruptcy.  They send postcards with the number and a name (Martha?), which I have read is not allowed under the government rules.  My family is very upset at me.  Very hard to have major health problems, job loss and them giving me such a hard time.  Have paid some, but they call and letters 2x's a week.  I'm about to loose my mind over the calls!  Oh, I have been sworn at too on the phone when I say I have no money.  One operator told me to "buy a lottery ticket"!  Wow.  It's such a drain, I can't take it much longer.  Thank you to this site that I can look up these numbers.

I got a call from these "people" and they said I had to provide my Credit Card account to them before they would even tell me what company they are from. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told until I was 'willing' to provide them with my name and credit card number I could not speak to anyone... Thank you SCOTT for transferring me to que. I finally found out they were from US BANK. or so they claimed. I reported this to my Bank who eventually found out they are a US Bank number BUT it is not listed anywhere in the directory....
Then I got 3 more calls and they would not let me talk to a Supervisor because it "...isn't a Supervisor Issue..."

Well Maybe my Lawyer might think differntly.. THanks Tenelle and Brandi and Scott and Kim and all the others at US BANK for telling me my opinion and my needs Dont Matter?????

Hope they understand when my ENTIRE family pulls our money out of their bank and who knows.. maybe Chase or Bank of America or someone else will like my  business.

US Bank calling.  I talked to them 2 days ago about my delinquent account.  Why do they feel the need to call every day, holidays, Sundays at least 10-15 times a day.  They also call from 2 other numbers.  I verified that I am at this address and that this is my number and all I could pay this month is what I payed.  Good Grief US Bank - give a consumer a break who is hurt by the recession, unemployment and bad health.  You certainly had your hands out when the TARP funds were handed out, but harass consumers constantly!

Credit Unions Rock! replies to AM
Don't switch to another bank.  Go to a credit union.  They actually treat you like a person and will work with you on financial matters.  Plus they have better rates on loans and savings accounts.  You deserve to be treated much better than a number!

This number calls more than 5 times a day during business hours.  The most annoying part is they hang up without even leaving a message--so why bother calling?!? I called the number back to try to figure out who they were trying to reach and they claimed they didn't have our number in their system yet they certainly did because they keep calling. I am still looking for an authority to report them to...I ran across this site while doing just that.

I dont know whats going on!
So...i got a call from my brother tonight and he said that this number called his house phone looking for me. Mind you...i have NEVER lived there or put their name or number on anything. I dont have any credit cards and i bank at a local bank. I see some of u said US bank...i dont bank with them. Ive called the number numerous times with the ext.1560847 and when they ask for my card number...i dont have one so it says they will transfer me to someone. The first couple times i called...it sounded like someone picked up but wouldnt talk...then once someone picked up and sounded like they didnt know they picked up and was having a convo with someone else...all i heard was "N***er pull up your pants"....im real confused at why they called and i cant get ahold of them to find out.

They call me everyday and have been doing so for over two weeks.  It gets worse. Now its 2-3-4 times a day.  Sometimes they ask for my secretary who retired over 10 years ago, and when I tell them that they ask for her husband by name.  I have tried explaining that to them and politely asking them to cease and desist.  I have threated to report them to the FCC.  I have called them every dirty name I can think of.  They just say "have a nice day" and hang up.  Only to call again.  I hope they burn in hell.

I got a little white postcard in the mail.  I figured it was a debt collector.  Thanks to this site, I am sure it is US bank.  There is no business name listed but a return address (handwritten) is listed on the card.  I am guessing it is for phishing for info so they can constantly call you.  I told the bank that I will look at anything in the mail and they are wasting everyones time by trying to call me.  I am broke and tired of the credit card trying to get money that is not there.  They should try to work with you before it get to collections as it is too late for them.  Credit cards are so 90's.

You might be able to block calls from this number.  Ask your son's cell provider how. Or put the pest in your son's contact list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

I suspect the caller is looking for the person who had your son's number before he got it.
