Like others on here, I got a letter in the mail instead of a phone call. The letterhead lists the same number. I know for a fact my vehicle's warranty is already completed and squared away with my dealer. I did extensive research and talked to my dealership in person. This company wants to sell you an additional service contract. I believe this is an attempt to prey on people scared of the language used in the letter: "a limited time has been allotted..." "you will be at risk of being financially liable.." and "this may be our only attempt". There is no information about your vehicle on the letter. After going through major stress and weeks of research to get my current car (long story), I don't appreciate being sent a letter from some rando company with "scare language" 2 months later.

Received the letter which says its from national vehicle headquarters.

I just received this letter about the same as everyone it seems. They never attempted to call me or email, but somehow they seem to threatened me as a final notice. I just got this car in March and nowhere near the mileage because its only used on weekends. Insurance coverage and mechanical coverage. I looked over my papers and nothing mentioned with expiring or this number provided to contact. It is my first car, but reading the letter i realized, it had no information about my car and besides its registered under my married last name and they dont have me as i appear so... its a damn scam now that i see everyone else here getting the same. Thanks to everyone i can ignore this BS

Just received the same letter, and found it pretty suspicious so i decided to look them up and after reading everyone’s comments - NO DOUBT SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!!!! Unbelievable how they’re trying to scare people and scam them.

They mailed me this letter. I was concerned and called but as I called the person on the other line wasn’t even sure what model of car I had. Also I hung up and checked online to make sure. I was right it was a scam, if it was real then I’m sure the dealership would be the one to mail me about my coverage .

I too just received a letter stating that they had tried several times to get in touch with me. Yea right!  My truck is one month old and I only have 4 days for an extended warranty. I bought at the dealership a extended warranty thru Ford. This company had no information on the truck or me.

I got a letter in the mail saying my warranty was going to expire. I called and they said they didn’t speak Spanish which isn’t good because if your a reliable company you WOULD. He then said that I had car that I bought in March and he would need my car model and year? If your my car insurance wouldn’t you already have that??? I told him “why do you need it, wouldn’t you already have that and he says I need to make a policy? I hung up right after, huge scam !

I just received a letter bearing this same number and telling me my warranty is about to expire.  Hostile language is applied.  I don't know how these people get personal information and its really sad to think that thousands or millions of people out there have unprotected personal information which scammers can use at any time . 1 800 261 9178 is the number.

My letter and the phone call o got specifically said my warranty was about to expire. When I asked on which vehicle they said they don’t have that information but they know it’s for one that I own. If it’s not a scam they are training people with a scam sales pitch to get people to get a warranty.

Yes, scam - or really more of a pure rip-off. Over-priced insurance with bad coverage. Probably more excuses than coverage.
