- Scott| 1 replyGot a call from USAA with their 800 number this morning but when I answered they hung up. Then this evening same call leaves a message to call 800-264-9324. Probably was a mistake but I called them, got the usual recorded voice about the call being recorded for quality purposes then it hung up again. I’m guessing it’s a scam to get account information.
- Call type: Silent call
- SheriReceived a voicemail to call this number and it took a while for the connection to be made. Someone with a foreign accent asked me for my member ID or my Social Security number. It just didn't seem right. Will call number on my usaa card instead.
- Caller: USAA

- karenI got a recorded message. It said to call USAA in regards to my account at 800 264-9324. I called the main number on my USAA account, not this number. USAA informed me that they never called me today and this is likely a scam. Beware, people.
- Caller: Not USAA

- A.E.| 1 replyJust received a voicemail from this number with an automated voice recording saying, "This is Martin Megan calling from USAA. Please contact me or any representative at..." When I did, the man asked for my "Membership ID Number or SSID" which of course I did not. I called Membership Services on my account statement when I got home and they confirmed with security that no calls were made to me about my account and said this is likely a scam. Do NOT ever give people your SSID or Membership Number and be safe!
- Caller: USAA
- Anon| 1 replySame as above - Martin Wiggins, originates from 1-800-number. I’ve not called back b/c I decided to check here first. I’m blocking the number.

- Annonnn| 3 repliesJust chiming in here to say, that Martin Wiggins also called me, and also told me to return his call by dialing 800-264-9324. It's probably not a SCAM because I do owe them money.
- Caller: USAA
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to AnnonnnThen you decided to stop by to tell us that you are a deadbeat who doesn't pay their bills? Or are you trying to convince people that the calls are legitimate so that you can scam them? My guess would be the latter!
- BigA| 1 replyAnyone who comes here to tell you that the call is legitimate is a liar. Think about it. Take the time to reason it out. If you know who called and why then what logical reason would you have to look the phone number up afterwards?
- Annnonnnn| 2 repliesYeah. They keep calling. They keep wanting me to call them. I am not gonna do it. But I do owe them money. This could be a legitimate "pre-Collections" call ---- something like "Hey, fella, if you don't pay us the money you owe, we are gonna send your account to COLLECTIONS"

- Nimrod replies to AnnnonnnnAnnonnn/Annnonnnn, you should tell whoever is having you make these laughable shilly posts that they need to get you a better keyboard, your "n" key keeps sticking.
- ASame as everyone else, received several calls and ignored it because I know I don’t owe them money or anything. Checked the app and didn’t have any messages, and called the main line to double check. If you call from within the app it automatically verified you so you don’t have to give them any additional info. The rep confirmed it was a scam and that that’s not their phone number.

- AshleyGot a call from the main USAA number but I didn't answer and they left a voicemail saying their name was Martin and to call them back at 800-264-9324. So I called the actual USAA number listed on my account and they said this is scam and that no one from USAA is trying to contact me.

- C JI got 5 calls from this number which is the USSA number stored in my phone but did not answer the first three calls, then when I answered the 4 th call the woman had a foreign accent, sounded suspicious, so I said I’ll call you right back and she quickly hung up. The last one I received was the automated voice from Martin, the scary thing is that I have USSA ‘s phone number stored in my phone and they are coming in on my phone as that number, I had to block it. I know it was not USSA because they email me or text me, never call. So I called to verify with them if they had called and why, they did not call and said not to give them any info, it was a scam!
- Anon replies to AnonI got the same... Martin Wiggins. Originates from the actual USAA number but left vm to call 800-264-9324 (NOT USAA's number). I spoke with USAA yesterday about all of the USAA calls I'm getting with no one on the other line--I get up to five a day. The helpful USAA agent with whom I spoke confirmed that there are no calls to me from USAA recently and to not call any numbers given by anyone who may be on the other end of the line, always call the USAA main number. Today was the first day a message was left.
- Me too! replies to A.E.I just had the same thing happen to me! Couldn’t make heads or tails out of it. Sounds like it’s def a scam! Thank you for posting!
- YepMartin Wiggins from USAA called me this morning. Before trying to call back I looked at my USAA messages in my account and did not see anything. Then I Google'd the 800# and viola, this conversation popped up.
- Caller: USAA
- DSMartin Wiggins called me as well. I have an old shared CC account with my former spouse so I wondered if it could be legitimate, but the number did not check out. It is always best to verify.

- NOTANOTHERONEWiggins called me as well, i've been a member of usaa (as well as my family) for decades....This is and has never been the way usaa conducts business. Tell them to screw off

- John| 1 replyMy Daughter had been scammed so the call was not out of the ordinary and her USAA account is still linked to my USAA account. When I called back they started asking questions beyond what normal USAA associates would ask so I hung up.
