They called and said my iCloud had been breached, to press 1 for support. I hung up, called Apple myself, and they verified that it was not from them. They were trying to get my info. Apple told me they will never call you, they will connect to you through your personal Apple email. They only call if you put in a request for a call. And it showed up AppleCare on my caller ID, but when Apple actually called at my request, it says Apple, and it was a totally different number.

I just received a call from this number. Caller ID said Apple Care.  The recorded message kept saying my icloud account had been hacked and to press 1 to be connected to a representative and to not go online.  I DON"T EVEN OWN AN APPLE PRODUCT!  Must be scammers.

Incorrect, Apple support phone number yes... but Apple support will never call you from that number.

I had someone call and try to get me to go on my computer and give them my IP address

Caller represented himself as an Apple Technician assigned to assist me with a password that was compromised. Insisted that I give him private information or Apple would be forced to terminate my account. he then put his supervisor on the line to take any information I would provide. When I would not prode any information the supervisor got very belligerent.

This may be an Apple contact number but it is definitely being spoofed by scam artists. I had a call this morning from a very heavily accented man giving his name as Harry Watson and representing himself as an Apple Technician and gave me an ID APP07215. He told me  me that hackers attempted on three occasions to change my Apple ID number. When I refused to provide him with information that he said he needed in order to correct the situation he got very belligerent and sad that Apple would close my account immediately. He said he was calling from Cupertino CA. but when I asked him a basic question about Silicon Valley he was unable to provide an answer, something that someone working in Cupertino would know immediately.

800-275-2273 calls my 93 yr old parent and annoys the heck out of them. Lets all call this number and tie up their line. Do what I do when I get this type of call, act interested, and shocked that you have an apple problem, go along with them, have them repeat themselves, give them fictitious numbers when they ask for apple id codes, act stupid, bumbling and keep them on the line for as long as you can (laughing to yourself all the while) If I have nothing else to do, I will toy with these idiots as long as they will stay on the line. Tee hee joke is on them.

These people are  scammers, they took $400.00 of my’n on iTunes cards so be aware of these people

Has to be a scam. I don't own ANY apple products nor would they have any reason to call me.

Caller ID said “Applecare”.  Robot voice said my iCloud account had been breached.  I hung up immediately because Apple communicates by email.

Multiple calls from this number. A person is spoofing their phone number so this shows up. Don't fall for it. They claimed to also call FBI to show proof they are authentic.

They have called several times this week.  I don't answer and no voice mail left.  Will block them as scammers have spoofed local apple store phone number before. This is most likely a scam and not Apple Support as I don't know why they would be calling me.  I don't own any apple products.
