- hiker1956Had two hang up calls this morning from two different numbers. While the calls came through from our verizon wireless account they came to a household style phone via verizon's home phone connect router so there is no display or way to block directly from the phone. The other number was 621-589-6794
- Call type: Silent call
- UnhappyIf this number 800-275-2273 is truly from Apple, why would someone call and NOT leave a message? SCAM!!!!
- Caller: Apple ?

- DammitallSurely you recognize spoofing calls, right?!. It comes in as a legitimate number but has a scummer who is contacting you. If YOU are the one to initiate the call to Apple, they are the right company but they didn't call you,! I often get calls that seem to be a neighbor or close residence, but if I call back that number, the person had no idea who I am and they did not call me. Educate yourself! This is how spoofing works. I have never had any Apple products, but I just got called. BLOCK THEM!

- CatMafiaOn Friday, April 13, 2018, in the afternoon, my caller ID came up with "APPLECARE" and then 800-275-2273. I didn't answer it because I have no Apple devices and I don't talk to callers on the phone about my computer or other devices. They did not leave a message. And scam callers change their caller ID to get people to pick up. This is obviously a scam as legit businesses always leave me a voicemail.
- Caller: APPLECARE

- Dr VRecorded messages states "Your online account has been breached. Press 1 to be connected to Apple Support". Pretty sure this is a bogus call.

- Tired of scamsGot a recorded message saying not to use any apple products because of a major breach. Directed me to call a “toll free” 844 number. I think the news would have covered a major Apple breach. So tired of crooks calling me.
- ChrisCaller ID: TOLL FREE CALL
The scammer did not leave a message on our answering machine. Blocked.
Our numbers are in the Do-Not-Call Registry. - Walter NYI did not answer, Caller did not leave a message. Caller ID says APPLECARE. I do own some Apple products. Do the scammers know that and if they do, how?
- Caller: ID says APPLECARE

- TNM DenverI answered call (it was second one in about 20 min), pressed 1 to talk to Apple Support person, they mumbled something in a thick accent. I asked him to repeat and he said, the auto caller made a mistake and called the wrong number and hung up.
- WenceslasAnother of millions of scams obviously from overseas via non-fixed VoIP. Thanks again to the domestic non-fixed VoIP-provider shysters who facilitate this crap; may their (each and every crooked one of them) karma soon commensurate their purveyance. They're spoofing Apple's de facto toll-free number for support and service in the U.S. and try to obtain your "online account" credentials under the guise that there is a problem with your Apple "online account." Note that whitepages.com erroneously has this number associated with California Pizza Kitchen ironically in Grapevine Texas but it's unequivocally Apple's number.

- NutcrackerSpoofing an Apple service phone number 800-275-2273: U.S. iPod, Mac and iPad technical support
Since I only have one of those, I don't have a conversation with Apple on them, they called twice and only left a three second blank message, that all screams scam, phishing, fraud, or other criminal activity. Point of note as an IT Security Manager, Apple does not initiate calls to anyone, they only respond to requests.- Caller: Scammer/Phisher/Criminal

- Barry replies to SmgThis was not a legit call - AppleCare does not contact users by phone calls. Call the online AppleCare phone number to verify my comments.
