- MLBBest way to respond to this type of call if caller is relentess & persistent= Do NOT provide caller with any info, instead tell caller to send all info he/she as asimilated IRT to call="in writing" & on "official letterhead" as required by your attorney! And since she/he has your credit information=they have your address=Then hang up! They're using "800" number to make the call sound "official"!!!
