This is a TOTAL SCAM.  Beware people, NEVER give out ANY personal information over the phone.

The best thing to do is answer the call and say that all further contact from them should be in writing. Tell them if their claim is legit they should have all your info. If they continue to hares then let them know you are tracking the calls that come. All debit recovery business that are legit will have no problem communicating in wiring since it leaves a paper trail. (You can tell they are reading off a script and are nervous about calling because the studded and forget to say things and are all o, and I have to let you know.)

This number is harrassing me at work, they keep on threating my deacesed grandmother who past away with worries that someone was coming to arrest me.

Recorded message  stating that an item had been returned from my checking account attached to my name and social security number said his name was William Fields left this number to call back with a claim number .The phone came from 434 210 3213 and the name on the call was another number  410 401 7030

I have never bounced a check and never will.  I do not have any loans out must be a scam to get my ss# and Checking account number

This company PDL is a SCAM company.  Even users who have a Pay-N-Go accounts are being scammed. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR CREDIT CARD INFO.  You can tell from their ghetto vocabulary and ignorant grammar and verbiage that they are scam artists.  They laugh, they talk crap to you on the phone and no legitimate collections agency will treat you like that or invest their energy in arguing with you.  I called Check - N - Go and they confirmed I have no account, my name nor SS or even address and contact number is in their system.

I get a call twice a day at home and at my job.  threaten me, bother me, harrass me.  this needs to stop.  i am told to call ms reynolds or i am going to jail....

This is a scam.  They called me too and i have no idea how they got my number.  I filled a complaint with FCC.  No legit collection company calls you and harrasss you.  You should close your bank account and go somewhere else. Stop these crooks from accessing your money.

Their "new website" is http://pdlrecoveryservices.org/ "  These people are such liars.  First of all they said I took out a loan with a certain last name.  First of all let me say that my name has never even been legally changed to this said last name.    2nd of all, the only payday loans that i have ever had was in 2007 under my legal name.  They're stating that this loan was received in 2012.  Well that is interesting, as I haven't had a checking account since 2007 lol .  I have been through this for 5 years now..various companies calling making threats, etc.  I do have to say though, they are smartening up now.  For so long the complaint was that they would never send anything in writing. Now today I got a letter with the amount owed lol  But as I said this is impossible as I haven't had a checking account in 6 years.

The Person sending the letter is the same as the "under construction" website that I attached.  Elizabeth Childs.  The phone number on the letter is 888-365-7001 and fax number of  614-510-6317.  Address is PDL Recovery Services 7804 Fariview Rd. Suite 285, Charlotte NC 28226  Funny that when I street view this address it comes up for a UPS Store with a Caribou Coffee Business...

Also I wanted to clarify.  The letter they sent me said "7804 Fariview Rd, Suite 285"  If you check the link that I gave previously " http://pdlrecoveryservices.org/" you'll see that they are not consistant.  They state their address to be " 7801 ".  I'm sorry but I don't know of any legit business that can't get their address correct on letter head and/or Website.

I have not answered ther calls, but they leave no message.

I have never taken a payday loan, loan from a pawn shop, etc..  I don't know how they found me but it seems fraudulent.

I wanted to add that they text using a "short code." All you have to do is reply STOP to the original text they sent and you will be unsubscribed. I believe they subscribe our cell phone numbers to their fraudulent crap ILLEGALLY. I have turned them in so they don't try and scam others!

I RECEVD A TEXT MESSAGE FROM THIS NUMBER AND HIS NAME IS ARTHUR REID!  THEY ALSO HAVE THREATND LEGAL ACTION AND ASKED WHY I HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THE LEGAL NOTICE I RECVD IN THE MAIL.  FOR THE RECORD I HAVE NEVER RECVD ANY LEGAL NOTICE IN THE MAIL.

I received a text message with the following: PLEASE NOTE this is not a soliciation. Contact Arthur Reid 1-800-290-1065 at your earliest convenience to discuss a returned item from your checking account.  Now don't they know they have just broken the privacy law. Who they don't even know who I am!  Have anyone else received this type of text message?

Have had periods of time where I get incessant (sometimes 15 or 20 and more) calls EVERY DAY from these people, then they stop for a few months, then the calls start up again. Today a NEW DEVELOPMENT: they texted my cell phone - you can be sure I will be saving these textx for the FCC complaint I have against them.

I got two successive E-Mails that said the following:

"Please call Arthur Reid at 1-288-290-1065 to resolve a matter concerning the returned item from your checking account. Do not reply to this email, it was generated by an automated sender and will not be answered."

I had them checked by a settlement company, who came back to me and said to ignore any future emails or calls from these people, they are trying to scare  you and make you cough up money you do not owe.  Even if you have outstanding payday loans, do not respond to these people and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!.  Threaten to report them to the FTC if they don't stop calling/emailing you.

they "spoof" the call under a 440-527-0005 number and leave the 800-290-1065 number in the voice mail.  my contact was a "ms reynolds"
