From the comments it looks like this number calls those who have missed enough mortgage payments to be in foreclosure... yet we are not in foreclosure, so I'm not sure why they're even calling us.

Indian accent sounding guy said he was calling from the windows help center concerning my computer.  I hung up on him and blocked the number

They called my place of work.  Left a message that they had a special business matter to speak to me about so I looked the number up and it was SLS a mortgage loan company

some weirdo contacted me on 04-10-2017 and leaves a message and says my name and that this is an important business matter.

Well, if they are trying to collect fraudulent or illegal money, i do have a police report on file and i will personally sue this company illegally and fraudulently harassing me.

The police already know about the fraudulent matter and the fact that i owe nobody any money.

I will publicize this [***] all over the internet on social media websites and my police report too!

I do not take [***] from anybody and that is all.

Got home to an envelope marked confidential laying on my front stairs.  Inside was a handwritten note stating to call my mortgage company at 800-306-6062. After reading other posts I know this is a scam as that is not the number to our mortgage co. & we're not in foreclosure; however we bought the house at auction because the previous owners did loose the house to foreclosure.

Someone from this number continues to call my number.  I don't know why they are calling me because they only say that it is regarding an important business matter, but will not disclose any other details.

Just had some twenty something year old kid drop off two notices... one with 800 306 6062 and the other with 800 746 2936

They claimed to be from Wells Fargo Fraud Prevention but they are not!

1-800-306-6062 is specialized Loan Services Mortgage Company ( on paper) on the phone they refer as Debt Credit Collector .  Once our finances are in order I look forward to switching companies. We have always paid our mortgage on time ( up until a few months ago ) and always communicate ! But this company calls 7:35 am, 8:05,9:10am up until 9:30 pm. this is no exaggeration! Their reasons for calling is "as a reminder your mortgage payment is due in the next 14 days, the next 13 days, etc? And refer to themselves as " debt collectors " not as our " Mortgage Company" which to me does not sound business oriented but bullying!

I mentioned the phone call but not the form that has been taped to our 2 front windows and our door ( all at one time). The note is clearly written that this is an attempt to collect a debt" and to cal 1-800-306-6062. Also they have spoken to my neighbors inquiring our schedule.

Me too.  Ditech was the previous one and when they called and sent mail it said they were a debt collector.  I am not quite sure how a debt collector with all the rules and laws that govern debt collectors how they can service a mortgage.  Freddie Mac owns my mortgage.  I have been behind on it but there are numerous lawsuits against Specialized.  I plan to let Freddie Mac know they are dealing with crooks.  The only way I can pay Specialized without it costing me extra is a check in the mail. I complained about Ditech to Freddie Mac and then I could pay them online.  When they call it shows Spectrum Business.  Why would a valid mortgage servicer not call from a phone identifying who they are.  These people are trouble for those whose loans they service and those on behalf they service. I wonder if Freddie Mac even knows the mortgage servicing has been transferred to them.

There are many lawsuits against Specialized.  Google them.

It shows as Spectrum Business.  I had been behind on my mortgage but I think these people are a scam trying to collect from what they find on credit reports and some other sneaky means.  I do not accept calls from people who do not properly identify who they are on caller id. I have a way to keep them from being able to get through to me. The person causing reports to be filed for them with the Colorado Secretary of State is a John C. Beggins at the Lucent Blvd address below.

I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office. They won’t stop calling so I blocked them.  They now showed up at my home leaving me a note on a plain index card in a plain white envelope written with confidential across the front.  They are say they are a mortgage debt collector.  They are scammers.

The law specifies how mortgages must be collected and it is different from regular consumer loans.  You should also contact the CFPB and the FTC.

Sls pain in the [***] company calls everyday minute you tell them you have a lawyer they basically hang up on you.
