I keep getting voicemails from this company Sunshine Vacations in Dublin! For a Britney Smiley! (prob. not a real name!) says she registered at a Columbus Blue Jackets game in January! So I called the # back finally 1-800-309-6500 and talked to Tristian, and told him to stop calling my # I'm not Britney! So he automatically started, well since this is registered under your phone # I am allowed to go ahead and offer the prize to you!!! which is a 3 night Royal Caribbean cruise round trip. No thanks such a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I filled out a form at a Columbus Blue Jackets game in feb. for a chance to win a new truck and several weeks later I recieved a call from these guys saying I won a vacation....what about the truck? They've called me probably 6 times since I attended that game and I let it go straight to voicemail and erase it later.

I am actually embarassed to say I had actually worked for this company.Biggest mistake I ever made how they could hound people months on end with their lies. The owner wants their employees to be honest and they tell the employees to lie to people and if you won't they fire you.Never fill out any entry for any thing any where with Sundance Vacations Event Marketing, unless you want to be scamed and lied to.

This is horrible. However, at least you know the issue before it is too late. You need to find a fiancee who is not related to a lawyer. As far as the free vacation, just remember. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....

My experience exactly! The 'hour long presentation' was actually closer to 3 hours but included a very good lunch. They were extremely high pressure but I knew that going into it. After I politely said no about fifty times, I enjoyed a couple days in the bahama's. I had a good time and it was a fantastic price for everything I did.

Sundance Vacations called me after I filled out a form at a concert I attended.  They left a voicemail saying I had won a guaranteed complimentary bahamas cruise and was in a drawing for 6 concerts tickets and complimentary airline tickets.  My other friends that filled out the form also received this call so I was thinking this was fake or it had a catch.  Glad I looked this up online before wasting my time calling back.

Wow this rude response will really make consumers want to talk to you and your company.  What ever happened to the customer is always right?  You don't treat customers the way you are.  Instead of sitting through this company trying to strong arm people into buying things they don't need or want by promising them a "vacation" people should just go through a reputable travel agent.

I filled out an entry form for a car at Jeffersonville Outlet mall a few months ago and now they keep calling for a vaction.  I don't make enough money for the trip (you have to have 25,000 income) to go, so that lady let me be.  Now another girl KIM  called my cellphone and left a message, then my house.  I hung up the on the house message and then she called back immediately where I proceeded to say "please stop calling.  I've told you before I don't want calls.  I don't even make enough money for the trip!" and then she proceeded to yell at me "THEN DON'T PUT THESE NUMBERS DOWN TO CALL!" and i'm like "IM sorry but I don't make enough so it doesn't matter!"

I filled out an entry form at a Brewers game to win World Series tickets. I should have known it was a scam. I got a call today from them to tell me the "GREAT NEWS!" Apparently I won a free cruise. All I had to do was sit sit through some presentation for an hour. I realized it was a scam & hung up.

I got a call from them that I won a free vacation with airfare.  All i would have to do is attend a one hour presentation at the location.  Well as you know we did not attend and today 8-19-09 I received a call from them at 9:45 p.m.  Of course we did not answer the phone but isn't it illegal for telemarketers to call your house after a certain time?  I think it is.

Does anyone actually win the thing they are signing up to win? Like the new car-season tickets-cash prizes? All I can see is that you offer vacations-wich nobody seems to want.

More calls, nightly around 9:00PM.   Have told them in the past we are not interested and the calls continue.

Called them this morning, told them to take my number off their list, and if any more calls are received, will contact FCC immediately.  Our number is on the DNC list, and I WILL contact FCC if one more calls is received from Sundance.

Excuse me....but read the below statement of someone who attended your so called discounted vacation: Yesterday I attended one of the high-pressured sales pitches and couldn't wait to search the company when I got home. Needless to say, I was not surprised to find all of these complaints listed when I seached Sundance.

My story is almost comical at the lengths this company goes to get you to spend thousands of dollars. Read carefully---

I received the infamous call from the company saying that I was chosen for a 2 night/3 day stay in either Reno, Vegas or Orlando... the only string attached was that I had to give them 60 min of my time, no more. I agreed and attended with my fiance. I was extremely skeptical from the starts as I was raised to know NOTHING in this world is free and if it is, its illegal or fraudulent. So we sat in on a 45 min sales pitch from a guy that appeared to be high on cocaine he was so damn hyper. He was VERY good at what he did and made everything sound so simple and affordable. (keep in mind that my mind was made up in advance that i would not be buying anything)

So towards the end of his pitch, he hits a buzzer on the wall which is letting all of the "other" sales men and women know that his pitch is over. It was almost like a cattle call- the room was RUSHED by 15+ sales people yelling out names and holding up signs with names (like you are in an airport terminal).

We now entered a room decorated in palm trees, beach balls, loud tropical music and more to entice the weak. My fiance and I reluctantly sat with another sales men who proceeded to break down packages and offer a ONE TIME only deal... my fiance and I politely declined and explained that it all sounds very appealing however financially we couldn't do it right now as we are buying a house and paying for our own wedding. The salemen politely acknowledged our refusal to purchase a package and said that we had to speak to the general manager to claim our free prize and that he would want to make sure that we understood all of the terms and agreements. So, AGAIN- we were to meet with yet ANOTHER person...
The new sales man still tried to get us to finance a package with no money down and a low monthly cost- comparing the cost to our cable bill... he wouldnt take no for an answer....

Now off to yet ANOTHER salesman---

My fiance and I were placed in a quiet room and left waiting- obviously this was another tactic in the hope that we would talk amongst ourselves and reconsider. The funny thing was, my fiance actually started buying in and I had to stand firm. We then were walked into the HEAD HONCHO'S office where he closed the door behind us. We couldn't help but notice that the room was very dim lit and there was aroma therapy also in the air---
Now I am beyond pissed off seeing right through their sharade, 2.5 hours later.

We were offered yet ANOTHER package that the other sales associate couldn't offer us and declined again. FINALLY we were handed our travel voucher and left.

In reading the "fine print" on the voucher it says that the consumer is required to pay a $50 "good faith deposit" and all taxes. SO, basically- when all is said and done after you book your trip you will still have to pay taxes on the flight, the hotel and a $50 deposit. So this "free" trip will come with an out of pocket up front cost of at least $125.
