- LucyWe knew imediatly the moment they called that this is a scam.
They keep calling offering us $100 dlls walmart card, becasue our recent purchase in walmart (we never go to walmart, we only did it like 2 times the last year), or $50 dlls target gift card (we barely go to target too)...
The first times they called we gave them a fake adress (for some reason got our correct home adress, but not our billing), and then a fake card number... and kept saying "can your repeat that??"...
So we told them no... and they keep calling...
Now we just have fun with them... since they are CLEARLY some kind of middle easterns (becasue the accent) we just tell them 'blasphemies" about Muhammed, or ofending them...
Last time we told them "fine! how about this... you send me the gift card minus the dollar of shipping (that would be like a $99 dlls or $49 dlls gift card), and they say no, we need your cc number... so we told them "until I don't see my gift card in the mail box... I won't give you s**t"
So if they call again.. I guess I will still having some fun giving them fake data and discharging my bad mood ofending them.- Caller: smart shoppers club

- Elder Yolanda Townsend| 1 replyCompany would not cancel trial but told me I had to call back in three days. The numbers I have are 1-877-398-7805 and 1-866-672-6702. They wouldn't cancel a 5 day trial for a target gift card.

- CyberCatI was called by these guys a few times now, each time it is the same rapid-fire spiel about how I am a "preferred customer" and they have my credit card information and want to charge me $2.00 shipping to send me $120 worth of free gas vouchers. They start out sounding like they are calling from my credit card company wanting to send me a "valued customer" reward, but when questioned admit they're not at all affiliated with my credit card company and got my information from some third party. But they can't tell me who it came from.
Most amusing to me is their reactions when I point out their website (smartshopperonline.com) is "under construction".
You can read about my experiences with them at my How Stupid Do They Think I Am? Scam Stopper blog: http://howstupiddotheythinkiam.com/category/gas-voucher-scam/- Caller: Vista Services / Smart Shopper Online

- Almost deceived replies to Julia| 2 repliesThis is a scam, they promised me two free airline tickets to Hawaii, two 50.00 gift cards, two top name work out dvd's all for $, 7.85, then told me I had 14 days to cancel, but I could keep everything that I receive in the mail for free. I didn't believe it, went back and forth with is this really for real, they assured me it was real and not a hoax, gave me all numbers and website including the teller's id number. I got off the phone called there numbers and looked for there website and found so many complaints, i called my bank and cancelled my credit card, within 15 minutes after saying yes to the teller. It's a scam do not buy into it, i did. I'm know calling the other business that take money out of my account monthly to reroute them to another account number for my own billing purposes.
- ralphthis is some bull. they charged me twice for 19.95 and when they called they won.t let me say no. and everytime i hung up they called me back right away and didn't stop until i agreed to them. when i finally did it took half an hour and that was only to shut them up. i can't call them back cause they refuse to pick up and i don't know what else to do but cancell my card. and it's a debit too. don't fall for this scam

- LizaI got a call from a lady and on my caller ID it said M621150416000276614211434 the numbers were all weird and then I got another one with all them numbers the the first letter was a V. The lady said she would give me a $50 Target voucher if I sign up and just bill me $6.95 for the shipping. She said I had 10 days to cancel but still keep my $50 Target voucher but then after she had take the money out of my account she was saying for me to put $14.95 more in so she can add me to 2 more programs.(I didnt have much in my account so she couldnt bill me for more) I came online to see if this company was real but instead I found out it's all a scam! The number she gave me to call was 1-800-350-5003 when I called it she answered real quick and I hung up which got me thinking why isnt other people answering if this is a big company? I canceled my debit card so she cant take anymore money out. People dont fall for this scam here is the website she gave me to go to. www.thesmartshoppersavings.com

- Arlene BriereI have just recieved the letter from Gayle Hanson of Inside Shopping on Saturday 09/03/11.
I read the letter and said that I will be getting billed $39.90 which started back on 08/31/11, but I did not OK that charge off my account, so I would like to stop and quit every thing right now.
All I had originally asked for was the two diet pill sample bottles for $4.95 each to be sent to me, nothing else.
Now I'm being charged also $6.95 for some trial materials that I haven't even recieved as of yet.
So I would like to cancel every thing, and I mean every thing, including refunds back to my account you have on file.
I did try calling, but could not get through, so that is why I am sending this e-mail.
If I don't get any results, I will be getting a lawyer to help me get this resolved.
Please either call me or e-mail me as soon as possible or I will be sending threatening e-mails if I don't get what I asked for.
To have all this garbage stopped and money refunded.
I also talked to my friend, and she even said that is is nothing but a big scam to get people's money.

Arlene Briere- Caller: ???????

- TriciaI fell for this on the phone, they SWORE they were Verizonwireless (I was trying to change my phone number on my cell online, when I was trying to see if my phone worked and tried calling my husband I somehow got forwarded to this scam-company). After I was on the phone for 18 minutes listening to lots of recordings I went off on the guy in the middle of one of them and said I don't want anything from them, they can keep it and quit asking my questions. He gave me a customer service number of 1-800-555-1212. Which, btw worked...
Well, when I call *611 after I screamed at this scam company on the phone the VZW guy had no clue what I was talking about, so I called my bank and told them what happened and they cancelled my card and marked it as fraud so I cannot get charged :) A few hours later, when they probably tried to put the charges through, SSSC called me back and wanted to talk to me, I told him I didn't want sh*t from them and he said I'd already given them my info, so I laughed at him and told him I'd cancelled my card already. - Susan MorrisToday is Feb. 6, 2012. I live in Lynchburg, VA. Tonight @ 10:47 PM, I just received a text that read:
Congratulations! As a thank you, call 888-2084854 to receive your $100 retail rebate. Reply END TO STOP. The call was made from 949-572-7021. He sounded like he was from the Philippines. I did not, I repeat did not give him my credit card. He said he would be charging $2.95 and that was all....I am going to call the police and report it. The crazy thing is earlier tonight, I got a recorded message on my phone from a voicemail 434-846-5553 and it left me a message, "We may have a $1,000 to offer you, call us back @ 846-5553." I called the # and it was a 'fast cash' loan place.
I don't understand how my # has made it to these scam people. Any suggestions? I am going to call the police and report it. I'm 60, a little wiser and have more insurance, like Kathy Bates!!!- Caller: SMART SHOPPER SAVINGS
