Need help to Subscribe Match.com

I was charged 3 times by WMV Matches.com. One on on Friday and twice in the start of the month. I've never sign up for matches.com nor have I even been there. After ordering something from Amazon.com I went to check my Online Banking to check my current charges and I found matches.com charges. I called my bank and they canceled my card on the spot. My advice to you never sign up for those kinds of sites nor even go on them.

This exact same thing happened to me. Everything in this post is legit.

My card is locked.. I want to know who does this.. why 10 times?  Who are these people and what the heck do I do now.

My 77 year old Mother had $139.41 from this # on my debit card listed as match.com today.  Fraud.  Bad part is if the company won't reverse we are stuck with the charges.

Did not receive a call from this number but found charges on my CC for $29.24 two times for nothing.  I researched this outfit and here is their information:  that are Match.com located at 8300 Douglas Avenue, Suite 800, Dallas, Texas 73225. Their direct telephone number is (214) 576-9352.  My lending institution credited the charges back as did WMV*MATCH.COM.  It appears that other businesses or employees from other businesses may be using this service and using stolen CC information.  I have determined where my information was stolen from and will take care of the problem.  There will not be any mor theft of my CC information.  Ever.

Our account was just charged $59.00 from this number, match.com.  I'm seeing this is going back to 2008!  Why isn't some government, law agency getting to the bottom of this instead of making us do the leg work to get our money back.  

Had a charge from this number to my credit card. This was an unauthorized transaction. I contacted my credit card company to stop payment and issue me a new card number. If you did not authorize the payment your credit info was most likely compromised.

I did not receive a phone call from this number, but I checked my bank account online this morning to find a pending transaction for $36.99 listed as:   PURCHASE WMV*MATCH.CO 800 326 5161 TX CARD####.

Searching the 800-326-5161 number brought me to this site. I've never had any business dealings with Match.com.

I contacted the fraud department of my bank and the card is now cancelled, but there's a 7-10 day wait for new card. A pain in the a$$, but fortunately I caught the charge before it was processed. Good luck to everyone else who has to deal with this nonsense.

The same thing happened to me today! I was checking my bank acct information and say a $120 fee from WMV*MATCH.COM. so i called and it said if i wanted a refund that the process is 100% automated and to just enter my card info. Unwilling to do this i hung up and redialed and used a different set of options to talk to a representive. I started a free account back in February. So i called today and they said that i signed up for a 6 month. And i said no. I unsubscribed almost 2 days after i made it and demanded a refund. Immediately she put it in and said it should be back in my acct within 48-72 hours. So you know that this happens a lot. She didnt put up a fight or anything so theyre obviously used to it happening to them. Just be confident in your belief and tell them that you're 100% sure. I got my email with my conformation number and all the details.

The same thing happened for me. I have never had a match.com account, or even visited their website. I have never been a member of any dating site, or any membership site for that matter. I had a pending $35.00 charge to my credit card statement. I had to call my bank and cancel my card. Posted from WMV*MATCH.COM.

I've been fighting this same fraud since 2013!!!  I'm so FRICKING PISSED OFF.  $77.50 every quarter.  I've cancelled, charged back the transactions. filed an unauthorized statements, blocked the vendor.  I'm done. Laywer called.

You should also file complaints with the FTC, CFPB, and your AG.

Your bank should be denying them anyway! And if they are continuing to allow it, time to get a new number on your account or change banks.
