They keep calling. I never answer, but I did finally call back today to see who it was. Rand twice thwn a machine picked up saying it was a directv customer service and to leave a message if I wanted a return call??? I think not! I just hung up.

Same thing as stated above. Claim to be directv offering 3 fee months of premium channels. Agreed to accept and the channels never appeared. I dI'd not give any personal info. When I contacted the actual directv, they stated that there was no adjustments to my bill and the number is not one of theirs. THIS IS NOT REALLY directv calling you.

Just got a call from this number. Left a dead-air message on my voicemail. Called it back and got this:
We apologize but all of our directv representatives are currently assisting other customers. Please leave a message and a representative will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you!
Last time I checked, when you call DirecTV you get put into a caller queue lol

I finally answered after repeated calls. Offered me complete wireless genie system with 5 wireless genie minis, one free year of service along with all movie channels. All I had to do was charge a handling fee of $50.00 to my credit card. They wanted an immediate answer along with credit card number. .........its a scam.

Someone keeps calling my cell & hangs up.  Very disturbing since we have an ill person living with us.  The # is 800-401-1691 & they call late in the evening and early morning.   VERY, VERY ANGRY.

Calls every day, multiple times per day.  I answer and say no thank you, or sometimes just let it go to machine, but there is never a message left.  We are on the do no call list for both TX and US.  

I have been receiving calls from this number EVERYDAY for the past few weeks... How annoying.. As I am waiting for several calls regarding my son's impending surgery

30 calls received from them in the past 2 weeks -- 16 of them so far today. Call blocking stops them after 1 ring, but when they call every minute (as they did for a 10-minute stretch), it gets annoying. Karma will catch up with them.

Got a call at 10:11 pm last night.  I was almost asleep and the phone ringing panicked me.  The only ones that would call me at that time of night is family in need.  By the time I got to the phone, the call had ended.  Reporting these calls is a waste of time since the calling number is usually a "spoofed" on.  I got an "out of area" call not too long ago with MY phone number in the caller ID.  I'm good but not good enough that I can call myself and answer my call on the same phone at the same time.

caller said he was from Windows/Client Server.  They had software to detect virus.  Let me in your computer I remove virus.

Received >15 calls from a source with this number spoofed 800-401-1691.  I've picked up twice hoping to blow my boat horn into someone's ear.  Never anyone there. I want to hurt whoever set this up badly.  I'm offering a bounty. Bring them to me and I'll let you watch what happens.

Get calls from this number from time to time and never answer unless it has a valid ID.  Research suggests it is al scam.  Makes me want to be sniper again.....

If it was Directv,  caller id would say Directv

This # is harassing my family!  They call, we answer and they don't say anything.  They called my house 7 times within a half hour; finally making my husband very angry.  My husband asked them to stop calling and to take us off their list to which the person on the other end of the phone laughed and hung up to keep calling again.  Please STOP!!!

They are still pretending to be DirectTv but if it was Directv,  the caller ID would not show unknown.  That's the first clue its a scam call

Calls leaves no voicemail.

Calling several times a day, it's extremely aggravating, no one on the line, no message.

They call all the time.  6 times a day.  When I answer there is no one on the line.
