I did not answer they called twice in five minute timrimespan

Called and said being a good directv customer I was gonna get channels for free. They didn’t ask any account info. All I said was okay and they hung up. I was just confused glad I looked it up so if they try and scam any thing I will be watching things very closely. They didn’t even have me very my name or anything so hopefully nothing happens from it. I usually don’t answer calls I don’t know but I was waiting for a call for a dr appt referral :(

Spammers are everywhere. Besides, Directv was bought by AT&T years ago. Give them no info and file complaints with FTC on National Do Not Call List. Deport all crooks..

I get calls from this number a LOT.  I’ve had two calls just today.  I don’t normally answer calls unless I know the caller, but about a week ago, I answered a call that I thought was a repairman we were waiting for.  It, in fact, was some woman calling who said she was from DirecTV and pushed and pushed and pushed me to add Cinemax and she could have it hooked up immediately. After telling her “No, I didn’t want it” several times and she kept on and on, I finally said emphatically that I didn’t want it, and she became quite disgusted.  Then I hung up.

Left a message saying " Your hair is so shiny....so shiny." WTF?

BLOCK the number.

Got a call from Directv telling me I was being given 3 months of Showtime for free and a $50 Visa Gift card. I told him no thank you, he acted confused when I told him I didn't want the channels,free or not. Told me I could call Directv and verify the call and that he was just Informing us. Contacted directv online and there is no record of them reaching out to us. Assured me there were no changes to my account. Read the comments on this page and decided to call the number back and got a lady robot saying all agents are busy and to leave a message. We hung up.

Called and said they were direct tv. Offered me 3 months free of stars channel and $50 Visa giftcard. I will be bill2d in February 2020. Rates will be $15 @ month

Have this number blocked (on our phone).. BUT while we were gone earlier today these $%$#$# called over 30 times between he hours of 3Pm & 4Pm...I don't get it... Same "DIRECT TV as the others advise..

Yep the same thing, Its Direct TV calling from all  area codes not only 800 numbers.

I just got a call from this number.  I picked up and hung up.  Reading the prior posts, I'm regretting that I picked up at all.  It could be someone who is being paid to harass us and verify that our phone numbers are current, which makes us live targets.  I'm just so sick of it.  Yesterday, on Christmas day, I actually got an unsolicited call.  That is not my idea of what Christmas is all about. Is one day off from this harassment asking too much?

I just got another call from them.  These creeps just don't give up.  And my new call blocker isn't blocking!

Caller ID is UNKNOWN CALLER. No message left.

Received call Jan 9th, 2020 at 10:00 am, caller ID showed Directv. They didn't leave a message!

Caller ID was Out of area.

Received a call from this number, it showed Directv, I picked up the phone and said hello and no one was there! Possible scam!

I never answer a number I don't know. I look it. Found this page. I have direct TV. I believe this number a scan. There's a way to spoof (make a fake/different number) show up on caller ID. Some collection agency do it often. I think I am answering a call from a friend bit it's a collection agency looking for someone else. Best advice if you don't know the number don't answer.

They call,  caller ID shows DIRECTV, no one there. Try to block #. Get message " that # cannot be blocked".  My # is on the DO NOT Call registry.

Same thing happened to me. I knew something was wrong when they were asking me too many questions about my account when they should have the account open in front of them before making an inquiry.
