Our business got a call from this numer this morning looking for someone.  Only the last name was intelligible, which is weird, because no one who works here with that last name (and we have several) has a difficult first name.  I blocked our company's number and called the number back.  A message thanked me for calling "the business office" and wanted me to put in a home phone number.  Well, they didn't call a home phone number so I didn't put any in.  I was put on hold forever because no one was available to take my call, even though their stupid autodialer just called our company.  I finally got another message, this time, thanking me for calling the "hospital's business office."  Okay, what hospital doesn't identify their office by name??  This was obviously NOT a call from a hospital business office.  I left a message for them to call back, asking them why they're calling our company and I couldn't understand their message as to who they're supposed to be looking for.  All I know is, our company doesn't owe any hospitals any money.  Grrr!

Stop calling me without identifying yourself. I will not call you back if you don't identify yourself first

The best way to handle phone calls... is to do what I am in the process of doing...(if you can)... take the plug out of the wall for a home phone..  .. and or do not give out ones phone number to anyone.. tell them you do not have a phone when asked

This is not a scam. It's a medical collection agency. Called me re: a lab bill from Lowell General Hospital. Insurance group # was typed wrong and insurance declined it. Gave her the correct # and it was paid.

I got a call this morning , Sept 05, 2013, from 800 416 6072, they left a message saying the is not a marketing call, please call. I called left no message and waited to see what would happen. It then said press 0 for more help, I did, a lady answered and I asked her the name of the company and told her it was rude they don't say who they are. She said that is because of the HIPAA Laws, it is a MEDICAL BILLING COMPANY, they do billing for different hospitals

Same issues asbelow.  This is not a legit company or they wouldleave their name.

I just received this message -- first time.  Went online to reverse directory and ended up on this site.  Glad I did.  I get totally annoyed when I am 'delinquent' for a medical bill when the provider is the one who sends it out months and months after the service.  If it takes them 6 months to send me an invoice than I will take 6 months to pay it off and I will do it in dribs and drabs (doesn't matter what the amount is). I never pick up an 800 call or a number I don't recognize.  And because of HIPAA laws they don't identify themselves?  That is ridiculous and all the more reason why I will not return the call. I did exactly what a previous person said.....I went to Verizon and blocked the number.

After reading these posts it all comes together.  I recently (2 wks) got a bill from Lowell General, Lowell Ma.  Now this number starts calling.  The only difference is it was a live person, using my name that left the messages with no callers name.
The poor hospital needs my $200. to complete their new wing!  Very unprofessional

I just received a voice mail from this number.  It was an automated message saying that they were calling regarding a "very important business matter."  Okay, if this is about a hospital bill I owe, I only just received the bill three days ago!  I know I owe the money and will be getting around to paying it at the same time I make out all my other bills, which I do on weekends. I'm wondering if they will continue to call even after I pay the bill?

I also received a call from this number today. Since the only medical bill that I have received was from Beth Israel/Milton Medical Center in MA, I assume this is what it is all about. The bill arrived last week while I was out of state on vacation. I paid all my bills on Sunday, and mailed them on Monday. I am REALLY annoyed with this practice. I hate being treated like a delinquent when they mail out a bill! I have blocked the number on my phone, and wish that I hadn't paid the bill promptly, as they make me want to behave as I am being treated.

Just received a call from this number on my cell; went to voicemail and it cut off the first part of the automated message.  Upon looking over the other comments, I don't know why this number is calling me for when I don't even live in MA, I live in IA.  Debt collection?  You'll get your money when I pay you.

I received vm from this company regarding my wife.  I checked this website first, and found many thought a scam, and others thought it legit.   I called back, pressed option 1, and entered 4545 as the extension ( as counseled in an earlier post on this site).

A very pleasant person answered, said they worked for Noble Hospital in Westfield MA.   It turns out my wife has two unpaid bills for lab services (our primary care MD uses the Noble Hospital lab).  I had not received either of these bills because they had the wrong street number (83 instead of 43).  That explains why I never received the bills.  I declined to give her my credit card, but promised to pay by check once they corrected the address and sent me a bill.  She said they would do so right away.

I was able to get that they knew Milford Regional Medical Center.  Contract MRMC and they confirmed that they are a billing company for the hospital for all balances under $ 500.00.

Got the same as everyone else! Got thank you for calling the business office...refused to enter home phone number so chose to stay on line for next representative. The robo caller left a message requesting a call back for a very important personal business matter....It's Lowell General for a Co-Pay on an uncovered Medical balance my insurance company didn't cover from 3 months ago...they are a third party billing company.

This is an auto dialer the billing dept uses at my dr office. When I called back, I was routed to my dr office and they asked if I was ok with the autodialer. I just told  them to call me directly next time. Not a big deal. Simple med bill I've been paying.
