    attempted scam
just received call from this number - although caller id showed the number phoning as my own, when i asked for theirs they provided 1-800-421-2100. said they were "card services," and were calling to offer reduced interest rates on my credit cards. knew the names of the companies, and the approximate amount of debt. when i started questioning them about their address etc., man got extremely irate and said he did not contact me to get interrogated. thanked him and cut him off. have notified companies. beware of this scam, and do not provide information. obviously this number has been used for nefarious purposes over the years. thanks everyone for posting before me.

If it is a BofA number they will identify themselves as such an you should NOT provide any information to the number calling in without ID.  A reputable, well established bank would not use second rate cheap callers to call for ANY information without IDing themselves to earn your business.  Beware of any such callers!!!!

I haven't had an issue with this scam 8004212110 because I put on auto reject and they haven't left a message.  Maybe I will unblock and see what it is and then report them. I have to check the numbers on my mom's because keeps someone calling for lowering the interest on her credit cards.  She doesn't have any cards.  I know she gets "you won a trip" or "your computer has a virus".  I bought it for her and it was about 3 days later after I set it up for her. Now she tells them that she doesn't have a computer so I think the stopped calling. And when pick up the phone you know they're calling from overseas because they barely speak english

Lol, I just got a call from this exact number on my cell phone today. But no scamming, I said hello and it sounded like two people, they were laughing and I said um who is this, they kept giggling then said wrong number sorry. Freaky. I looked it up and found this, so I called it back and was exactly what everyone said, card services or w.e. I'm a 19 yo girl, I don't have a credit card soooo pretty sure it's a scam. Be safe guys and make sure to give a heads up to the elderly people in your life!!!

Our own # and info showed up on our caller ID today and, since I could see my 2 other co-workers, I knew it wasn't one of them "teasing" me with a call (they wouldn't do that anyway!).  After the initial pre-recorded msg came on, I hit 9 to speak w/a representative about lowering our "rates" and, when someone picked up saying he worked for MC/VISA directly, I asked for their callback # as I need to speak w/my boss, the doctor.  The ?Indian? gentleman then started speaking really fast asking, "Why the doctor?" so I repeated that it's my boss, the dentist, as we are a business so I needed a callback # so I could speak w/her about taking them up on their offer(s) (NOT!).  The rep then launched into his own dental concern to the extent that I had to interrupt him 2 times before he would give me his # and then he said it so fast it was like he didn't want me to catch it...I then filed a "spoofing" complaint with the FCC

Got a call from this number. They identified themselves as "Card Services" They left a VM with a case number. When I called back their automated service asked me to enter my full card number or social security number... i obviously didnt do it but asked to speak with a representative. When the person picked up asked for a full name. I asked them which bank where they calling from... they said they couldnt tell me without an account number and name. I told them i had a case number they left in VM. He said that wouldnt help. I then told him i was not providing any info. This is scam. No Bank will ask you to enter via phone your FULL account number or SSN.

Received a call from 800.421.2110; 319.225.2094; 629.777.9094; 313.218.4386. Claimed to be from credit card services visa master and offered to renegotiate with my bank the interest on my credit card or switch it to another lender. They even told me what my balance was on my credit card and how I always paid on time and more than the minimum payment.  I am concerned for my credit.
