- ScrewedThat BofA number is spoofed though if you hit redial it goes to BofA customer Svc. I only answered because it’s the number on the back of my card. They did everything you would expect to hear from a real BofA employee right down to asking for my online code (whIch I did not know...yea for that) to sending a 6 digit code for verification. The notification is word for word what BofA sends. They were even able to tell me what some of my last few purchases were. They also shut off my over limit notifications. I was feeling kinda stupid for falling for it (still am for that matter) until I received a letter from BofA today indicating that I had requested a temporary ATM and purchase daily limit change and it was dated the day before I even spoke with them. The fraudsters also sent me a letter asking that I call re: unusual activity on my account. Shoot I still felt like I was being set up again even though I was the one calling the real BofA after ot happened because my interaction with them was eerily similar to the fraudsters. Guess it’s time to switch banks.
- Caller: Supposedly BofA

- RogerJust got a call from this number. No double it's a scammer. I'm shocked by how much information they stole, because I verified a few of my account info and the scammer all got them all on file. This is SCARY! This scammer told me that my card was sold to someone. Be aware!
- JuliaHackers are using this BOA number and trying to scam you for your money. Do not give out any info over the phone. Call back your bank on the number on the back of your debit card as they can hack into existing numbers and have you believe it’s your bank calling but it’s not. Don’t fall for their BS of unusual activity on your account!!!
- Caller: Bank of America’s

- Caller: BANK OF AMERICA-spoofed
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MJWhile the number itself is Bank of America, the number is being spoofed by scammers. That means the number we see is not the number that they are actually calling from. They were calling offering to lower the interest rate of my BofA Credit card. I don't have a B of A credit card. Also B of A always communicates with me through the app or via text or email. Never a call. If you ever suspect that who you are speaking with may not be who they are saying they are hang up and call the main number and ask if they have contacted you and explain. All legitimate calls will be notated showing they reached out to you and why.
- Caller: supposedly Bank of America
