I had received a text message on my cell phone from this number confirming that I updated my bank information.  I confirmed that my husband had done so.

I received a text message saying; “FIDELITY: Loan activity has occurred on your account. If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply.”

Received the following text:

FIDELITY: Loan activity has occurred on your account. If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply.

I also received the same text from the same number July of 2018.

Text saying: FIDELITY: Loan activity has occurred on your account. If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply.

I really do not think fidelity investments will text you.

Received a text from Fidelity. But I do not have a fidelity account so I knew it was a scam

I just received a text message stating "loan activity has occurred on your account.  If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475".  I reached out to Fidelity from their main web page, and they confirmed there was no activity on my account.  Be aware!

Scam

Rec'd text: "FIDELITY: A rollover or withdrawal was initiated from your account. Not you? Please call 800-438-2475, ..." Still investigating.  My Dad had direct deposit for retirement account administered by Fidelity. He died a year ago hence, no more account.  Only my bank and Fidelity have my cell.  Looking like Fidelity was hacked.  Also, my text referenced a 401K type account vs. investment account types by others reporting on this number.

don't have a Fidelity Investment account that I am aware of, called Fidelity Investments - they have no records of me..

there are many Fidelity Banks.. if anyone knows which Bank this is (if not a scam) would be appreciated..

Did the same.. same outcome - no activity.

Same here and they sound like pros BUT anyone asking for social or acct is phony

Reply STOP to opt out.  Msg&Data rates may apply.  Ok, so the parts in parentheses are my thought.  Fidelity number is 1-800-FIDELITY.   This doesn’t match and is definitely a scam.

Received text claim to be from Fidelity saying a withdrawal was initiated. Not you? Then , call this number

Received same text, no fidelity account

This is a legitimate number for Fidelity Division for 401k Activity!.....If you are confused!...it is not a scam number!....It is to Alert you of possible changes being set up on an account in your name or co-family name!...that you may have or have had before but was still active or you need to call to see if you have a balance or to Close out!

This may or may not be a legitimate number for Fidelity but that doesn't mean scammers aren't spoofing it so you cannot guarantee "it is not a scam number!".
By the way, why are you even here? Do you often look up known phone numbers?
