Received another text just now saying "FIDELITY: Your bank information was updated. If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply". It came from 29943.

This scam needs to update their information. I don't have an account with them. Haven't since I left my first job in 2014.

I got the same text. It could be Fidelity, the investment company and not a bank. I am going to check it out further. I am going to be doing a rollover to an investment account.

They don't "get" them, they just dial all numbers in a given sequence.

I got two different emails about changes to an account and said to cal 800-438-2475 if I didn’t initiate it. I don’t have an account nor am I calling a number that isn’t listed as legit on the official website.

On 2/10/21, I received a text from 299-43 stating, "FIDELITY: A rollover or withdrawal was initiated from your account. Not you? Please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply." My investments are not through Fidelity so I figured it was a scam.

Recieved text as shown in other reports here about loan activity. Called the number, computer generated message asking for account details or ssn to certify identity, at which point I hung up.

Called Fidelity from a number supplied  through their official app and confirmed there was no activity beyond my own on my account.

Total SCAM.  I was just issued a NEW phone number for a work account.  This number is not associated with any of my Fidelity accounts.  Received two texts.  Just a total SCAM.  Delete.

E mail claimed I bought an I phone from Walmart. Don't shop at Walmart. And you couldn't give me an I phone.

Received three texts from this number over the past several years suggesting I had bank account info updated, loan activity, or rollover activity, and I should call a number if this activity was not initiated by me. This is a scam - beware of random reports on this site (two noted) that try to make this appear to be a legitimate Fidelity message amongst the many that clearly see this is a scam.
