- mtThis is an ABSOLUTE SCAM.
Anyone who has replied in here saying it's legitimate, is a part of the SCAM.
I read an email that the "email address has changed" and to call this number if you have any concerns.
Also in the email, it states to log into
"fidelityinvestments.com", which is NOT associated with the REAL Fidelity company
It's a scam thru and thru ... I called Fidelity and gave them the phone number and login URL and they confirmed neither are valid

- StephenRight after I changed my password. I was texted to my cell number that I had only just given to Fidelity. The text came from 29943 without the usual Fidelity logo or banner. It said “FIDELITY: a rollover or withdrawal was initiated from your account. Not you? Please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply.” I called and he said my identity was confirmed from my phone number. But he only knew my name and Fidelity and wouldn't give me anything else. So I realized this was NOT the right number, I didn't tell him anything and hung up to call back on the right number. They confirmed there was no transactions and that was not their number.
- Caller: 29943, FIDELITY
- JDYi got a call saying my password was changed in the same format as other posts, i just did my taxes with hr block and the logo of fidelty looked familiar so i called fidelty customer support line on their website, they don't have a bank account with me though and i got a text from hr block saying my taxes went to the irs, it looked very legit but i got the link for it through a partner offer on a game website so idk maybe i got a virus and didn't know it.

- Bob replies to TaylorI also received a text message saying:
“FIDELITY: Your password was updated. If not initiated by you, please call 800-438-2475. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&Data rates may apply.”
This is scam don’t reply. - FraudBusterReceived a text from 29943 stating FIDELITY bank account information has been changed and second text that a rollover or withdrawal from my account had been initiated and to call 800-438-2475, if it wasn't me. I have a FIDELITY account so I just logged in. There was no activity, changes or withdrawals initiated on the account. I called the FIDELITY customer service number on their website. They confirmed that there was no activity. This is a scam. They said these scammers spoof real numbers/alerts and once you call in the get you to share your banking details. They generally have just enough information about you gleaned from the web to make it seem legitimate. Always call your financial institution directly or go to your account on your own . This is definitely a scam
