googlinf the number returned this "American Network Leasing Corporation dba Premier Collection Services"

Message was for someone else. Not the person we usually get calls for. Medical Business Bureau. I called back to tell them to take me off the list. A message told me that all of the executives are in a meeting and that I should leave a message.

..they call on Sunday evenings as well as thru the week.   The phone will ring at least 25 times before they quit....annoying since I don't have a phone in my name.

I have seen this number a lot on my phone and the way it comes up 001-800-4388146
I thought it was one of those pick up and get charged for the call.........

Scammers they started by asking me my date of birth.....I hung up.

I called back and they said they would delete my number. They were calling for someone else anyway! We'll see if they call back!

They identified themselves as on a recorded phone line and part of the American Medical Bureau.  They wanted me to confirm my birthdate and address.  I told them to tell me the purpose of the call and organization.  He said "okay" and hung up.

Like Annoyed says, the informed me the line was recorded and that they were with a medical outfit of some kind. My operator was a mumbler. They asked to confirm my birthday, and went on to claim that I owed 700 and some odd dollars for something in July of '09. I had no medical expenses whatsoever in '09. When they asked how I wanted to handle this payment, I told them to send me a letter. They said they already had - BS, since I read everything the comes in and never saw a bill like this.

All signs point to scam, I'd say.

I just received a call and they asked me if my birthdate was -------. I asked who they were and the guy (obviously from overseas) told me they were Medical Business Bureau. I replied that I understood that and told him I would not give any info over the phone and again asked who they were. He said goodbye and hung up. I called the number back and asked what kind of business this was. He again asked for my phone number. I told him I would not give any info over the phone, especially since he would not tell me what this was in reference to or what "kind" of business. Sounds like a scam to me. Beware and give them NO INFO!!!!

This number keeps calling and doesn't leave a message.  Its driving me nuts!

When will these clowns learn to stop annoying people may be we should get together and sue them for harrasment.

I keep getting phone calls from Daniel & I don't answer it. They call almost everyday. I am getting very upset about these disturbances. They call when I'm at work during the day and in the evening too. I would really like it if they would stop. This is an invasion of privacy and my constituional rights. Where is this country heading - to hell if you ask me.

Be careful don't ever give any one any information or verify any information especially if you don't know who they are period.

I got the same thing and told them I would not confirm anything other than my name unless they told me what this is in regard to, and he argued that he would give me that info once I confirmed by child's birthday or address.  They say they have to follow procedure and collect this info first.  So I gave him two choices, either tell me what this is about, or hang up.  He said 'I understand your need for privacy' and we hung up.  Weird.  Especially when there should be no bills that I know of for my son!

Keep getting same type of call regarding medical claim> I have no outstanding Billing from 2009.

A guy who called himself "Mario" was claiming that he could drop our hospital charges to $323 if we paid with our credit card over the phone. Since we currently are trying to get help with medical bills, we almost fell for it. But our hospital said they never heard of this Mario guy or the association he claimed he was calling from. We've never received a bill mailed from his company or anything else. Also, he had called about five or six time previously and hung up when I picked up. I'm guessing he was waiting to hear a name on the voicemail so he can ask for that person. It's a scam!

Some mumbling foriegn guy (i did'nt recognise his accent) called me about some kind of medical bill for my dad he would not give any info on what the supposed bill was or from when but the thing that made me realise it was not legit was the fact that he did not know that my dad passed away almost two years ago he then asked who had power of attorney he did not know that my mom is still alive i told him it sounded like a scam he assured me it was not i called him a liar and told him to stop trying to scam people he then apollogised and hung up maybe he will figure out that Americans are not as stupid as most countries believe we are

I got a call from this number and they started their spiel long before I picked up the phone.  When asked who they were and what they were calling for the girl mumbled Medical Business Bureau.  She sounded like a child and barely spoke above a whisper.  I told her to remove this number from their calling list and she whispered something unintelligible.  Caller ID just says Toll Free Call and 99.9% of those calls are telemarketers and scammers so I'm assuming this one is too.
