Got a call today and I didn't answer as I was on another call. Haven't heard back from them yet. Waiting to see if they call back as no messywas left.

Scam asking my daughters date of birth claiming to be some medical beauro

Weird how it came up on the phone. Caller ID simply said XT. No message left.

i received this phone call from 1800-438-8146.  They asked for my wife and to verify her DOB.  I told them i will not release that information to them.  I asked what this is in regards to and they said the only thing they can tell me is for my son and they stated his name.  I told them now they have given me more information than was needed they asked for my wife's DOB.  I said no.  I told them they will remove my number off their system and never call again or they will hear from my lawyer.  I also told them to send me everything in writing before I go any further

I received a 3rd call from 800-438-8146 from Medical Bureau, they wanted me to confirm my date of birth.  each time I tell them I want them to reach me by mail.  She said she will note my account and I replied it should be there from two other calls.  I tell them the same thing and I block their numbers but they find other ways of calling me back.

Called stating they were from Medical Bureau.  First question was what is your birthdate? Really what a scam this is.  If you are calling from the medical bureau you would have had that information. HIPPA

Received a call from 1 01 1 800-438-8146 That tells me it was not in the USA.
I answered and a man who didn't identify his name or company name, with a very heavy accent said that I have only 1 minute to tell him my SS# and date of birth or I will be arrested within an hour.
I hung up.
It's been about 2 hours, so definitely a scam.

Same thing here.  He asked for my date of birth immediately to continue the call.  I verified he said he is from Medical Business Bureau and he said "Yes.  May I have your date of birth to continue the call".   I hung up.

Received a call asking for my husband.  Wanted his date of birth and he knew my daughters name.  Said he was from the medical business bureau.  He had a thick Indian accent.  I told him if I was late for a debt to mail me a validation notice.  We’ve had a lot of medical cost, but I was sure everything was paid.  I hung up and didn’t give any information.

I received a call from this number twice at 2 separate times. They don’t leave a voicemail.  After reading previous posts, anyone calling asking for your dob to begin with is a scam.  I work in the medical field,  these scammers aren’t just violating Hippa laws but also Tge Federal collection laws!!

Calls all the time. Never leaves a message. If I answer they asked me to verify my birthday and phone number. I said if u are a debt collector as you said, you should already have this info. Caller stated I was being rude. I tend to get rude if someone is trying to scam me! I wish they would leave me alone!

They identified themselves as on a recorded phone line and part of the American Medical Bureau.  They wanted me to confirm my birthdate and address.  I told them to tell me the purpose of the call and organization.  He said "okay" and hung up

Caller said he was Jude for Medical Business and needed to speak to my son to confirm medical order. I explained my son hasn't medical decision rights and his father does. I offered to give him number but he kept repeating he needed our son to confirm the order. I told him he would not get a return call from our son since he is not capable of calling anyone. Asked what medical order he thinks our son made. He repeated and spelled his  name, Jude, and 1-800-438-8146. I hung up.

I keep getting texts to call this same number.I got a call from a man with heavy accent that he needs to confirm my birthday to continue with the call. I told I will not confirm anything since I have no idea who he is. I take great pride in paying all my bills and this has had me on edge. Im relieved to see others with the same script. Supposedly Medical  Business Bureau.
