- Mr & Mrs LadyBug replies to ggosbornMy husband just went to work and I've been in the garage with it half open & no one knocked or made noise but when he walked out the front door it was on the frame.
We are 2 months behind but weird thing is I called & spoke with a Chase rep last week and he told me that we would be okay as long as we stay in contact with them.
So why the freaken note Chase???? - MikeL replies to mi| 4 repliesI just received a note on door to call this number: 800-446-8939. I confronted the person leaving the note and she responded to call my mortgage company which is Chase. I called another number I have and they verified that this number was for the Chase Homeowners Assistance Dept. So it is valid.

If you don't want to be acitve on a workout plan call and get the number for the ciest and desist and fax a letter in stating u wish to not rec any help. We will stop calling. This tactic is used for those of you whom wish not to be foreclosed on
- Katic| 1 replyI was walking the dogs this car came up to my house took a picture and than she got out of the car and walked to the front door by the time I got up to her, she was in the car taking off. When I got to the front door there was a note on the door to call this number: 800-446-8939. We made a arrangements with Chase to pay a little more each month so we would get caught up. Ever time we call the say everything is fine as along we keep making the payments. So why the note to call since we talked to them two days ago!!!!!!!!!!
- DonnaA young woman pulled into my driveway and handed my 9 year old grandson a message marked urgent. I called and the Chase recording responded. There was a request for my Socical Security number. I hung up and called the police. I also called the Chase bank and spoke with customer assistance. I don't have an account with Chase and I am puzzled.
chase bank account and I'm rather puzzled. - rod replies to queeniei have herd the modifacation plan takes lets say all your check to get your loan cought up when i have other bills as well then one day i went to chase they said to get a loan modfication loan but when chase calls the house they are nast demanding people to talk to !
i tried to refi the double wide i live in the loan officer never told me they couldnt do it but then its what started my loan being late and this year ive had back surgury off 2 months now im off 2 weeks due to a foot infection .....
rodzy2002@yahoo.com - hates ChaseI too am getting these little 3inch notes hand cut saying "Please contact us immediately" and lists Chase #. They are in plain white regular envelopes, never addressed nor sealed. I find them laying close to my mailbox on the ground. I consider this not only trespassing, harassment, but also littering, and if and when I catch the person leaving them I shall call police and have them detained/arrested. I have called my mortgage company and have a mod in place, so now this is just plain harassment.

- JOHNGOT THAT NOTE THE OTHER DAY. BECAUSE OF THE HARD TIMES MOST OF AMERICANS ARE GOING THROUGH, WE SOMETIME HIT THE POST AS IN HOCKEY TERMS IN OUR HOME PAYMENTS. I FIGURE THAT WILL HAVE TO DO. WHEN WE HAVE CALLED CHASE IN THE PAST THEY ARE COLD MEAN JERKS ON THE PHONE. I AM SURE THE CHASE ORGANIZATION IS RESPECTFUL TO THEIR CLIENTS. THEY PEOPLE HANDLING THEIR PHONES ARE NOT.
- LA GAl2 replies to cscnd| 1 replyI find it hard to believe that Chase is helping anyone. You are lucky if they are, but be wary they will find some way to cheat you.
- Chase the Truth replies to queenieThose who want to be helped??? I have been trying to work with Chase for 2 years, and they really don't want to help anyone.
- Chase the Truth replies to MikeLSame thing just happened to us. It may be Chase, but I wouldn't give any info . You have no way of knowing. If it is Chase it's intimidation on their part . They refuse to work with NACA and Chase is only the servicer! They are preventing Fannie Mae from modifying loans.
- SkepticThe number is legit and real HOWEVER - Chase gets info from websites like Trulia that track pre-foreclosure homes. Trulia gets it from your local tax assessor or the local court house. They are just a run-of-the-mill personal loan outfit trying a new sneaky nationwide door-to-door campaign to make you think its really urgent to contact them when it's not. My mortgage holder is not even Chase. They found out about my house on Trulia.com and targeted me. Yes they probably take a photo of house too to supply to Chase mortgage brokers database. Trust me their loan rates are probably sub-prime rates. You'd do better by working with your own bank/mortgage company on a loan modification or re-fi program. Also think about using the Obama HAMP program from feds (if you are not on FHA). Call 211 for advise on what to do if your home is coming up on foreclosure. This tactic is really slimy of them...

- VuedooWe have been getting this please call urgent...but when I called chase they told me that they can't help me anymore. So why the he'll would they need to keep on posting this up at my door... I have encounter more then two different people now....how do I get them to stop and for them to take there trash paper...it just piles up in the front porch...

- MerlinGot a similar note and same number on my gate - a poorly photocopied square piece of paper. Called it with caller id turned off and it asked for a social security number....no way am I giving that out unsolicited even if the automated response said it was Chase! It's too unofficial for something a big company like Chase would do - they certainly didn't hesitate to call me from a legitimate number every day when I was one month late!
- Caller: Chase?
- Paula replies to LA GAl2This is so true. I have done all they have asked and believe me different people ask different things at different times. Now they are leaving me notes on my home gate? This is just spooky.. It freaks me out.
- Sick of ItChase has breached the gates of a private gated community twice. Hanging/Leaving an unidefiable hanger with just a phone #. She gave the guard a different address then proceded to our house which is completely on the other side of the development. Where is the local security and sherriff's dept? That is trespassing. Obtaining access to a development under false pretenses.

- AmyB| 1 replySome slopy kind parked in our driveway, rang our bell and handed us a blank index card with this number hand written on it. No words. Just the number. When asked, the kid said he was from Chase and to call the number. He didn't give us his name, all he said was he didn't know why Chase wanted us to call, but to call that number and he walked away.
My mother called Chase and the rep said they wouldn't send anyone to our house without some sort of letterhead.
I wish we would have gotten the license plate number so we could report him for trespassing! SCARY!- Caller: (800)446-8939
- AMYB replies to AmyBCorrection: My mother called a known good Chase number. Not the one handed to us. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER GIVEN TO YOU!
- Another Chase Victim replies to MikeLThis is not true...the number is NOT VALID but totally bogus and does not belong to Chase. Someone is just trying to get personal information, such as social security numbers, and is up to no good.
