- Smiley replies to deb| 1 replyInteresting... I received the same message in a white business envelope stuck on my front door last week. Did not see who put it there but has the same nbr in the lower right hand corner of the envelope... 144. I live in R.I. Previous to this, I had a few poor quality emails supposedly from Chase asking for my account info...
- D replies to SmileyI got the same letter while I played with my kids in the living room. The guy taped it to our storm door and walked off. This is Texas, you can't creep around people's property at night. We are in the middle of purchasing this house from the owner; we are not behind.
The number in the corner of this note is I-106. It's a photo copy of a 3x5 and was folded into thirds and taped to the door.
Raise your hand if you hate people. - idc replies to Jerzeegrl| 2 repliesidk if its a scam or real if i find them on my door step again after i told them i dont have a loan with chase or even a account with them and i own the house i will be sending someone home in a body bag i dont take well to being harassed by some idiot that looks like he got his close out the dumpster washed it in [***] and rinsed it with p!ss

- chase are scammers| 1 replyI've been dealing with these crooks for two years now and as of December 22,2011 our house will be all there's. What I can tell you is that these door hangers are from Chase. If they can't reach you via phone they send one of there minnions out to hang this notice on your door. To prove to all you nay sayers who are crying foul let me say don't bother calling the number. They have no intention of helping you anyway. Also for all of you who think your so bright and that you've uncovered some under lying plot to commit fraud or something by calling the Chase customer service number and them telling you it's not one of there numbers. Let me put your mind at rest after dealing with these fools for as long as I have I know for a fact that no one in this company in one office or the other knows whats going on in any of the other offices. You'd think that in a multi billion dollar organization all offices would be looking at the same information on there respective computer. If you think that's the case you are sorely mistaken. Everyone has just a bit of information and you can never find one person who has access to the whole picture. Instead of taking each situation on as an individual problem they simply plug it in to there little computers and do whatever it tells them to do no exceptions. It truly is a nightmare and even though we are loosing our home ultimately it is a relief to be done with it. F.Y.I. I'm not a scammer but Chase certainly are the biggest ones I've ever delt with. So if your dealing with them God bless and good luck your going to need it. Looking back and knowing what I know now I would of just walked away two years ago and saved myself all the frustration. In the end Chase is really who is loosing, at least in our situation. P.S. If something on your modification offer doesn't look right and you question it and they say go ahead and pay it and we'll fix it before we make it final. Please for the love of God no matter what they tell you don't give them one red cent until they change your trial modification and make it right. If you do pay them the trial payments .They will never fix the issue and you'll be stuck with a mod. that will put you right back where you were in the first place in a few months. Be careful people there in it for themselves only!

A bank wanted to evict 103-year-old Vinia Hall, but movers and deputies did not remove her from her Atlanta home Tuesday.
The bank administering a second mortgage on the northwest Atlanta house where Vinia Hall lives will work out an arrangement so that she and her 83-year-old daughter, Kathelyn Cornelius, don’t have to move. The bank, JPMorgan Chase, announced the decision Wednesday afternoon.
“We will work out a resolution to keep them in the home,” Thomas Kelly, a spokesman for the bank, said in an emailed statement.
"That's a blessing," Hall told Channel 2 Action News.
The bank’s decision caps a series of telephone calls and negotiations that involved a former Atlanta City Council member, a state senator and the office of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
There were plans to evict the women Tuesday, but the movers and Fulton County sheriff's deputies sent to the home did not remove them, Channel 2 reported.
Hall, whose 104th birthday is three weeks away, told Channel 2 that day that she was not worried about being kicked out of her Penelope Road home.
"No, I knew that they know what they were doing. God don't let them do wrong," she said.
The situation seemed to affect Hall's daughter, who was rushed to the hospital, Channel 2 said.
In 2002, Ali Muhammad, the grandson of Vinia Hall, got a second mortgage on the house from Deutsche Bank National Trust, according to Fulton County Civil Superior Court records. That loan ultimately was administered by Chase.
Muhammad was listed as the owner, though his grandmother had lived in it for decades. Seven years after getting the loan -- in March 2009 – Deutsche foreclosed on the property.
Hall remained in the home while Muhammad fought the foreclosure, said Derrick Boazman, a former Atlanta City Council member who said he negotiated with the banks to keep the two elderly women from eviction. Joining him was state Sen. Vincent Fort, D-Atlanta. Officials representing Reed also contacted the banks.
Chase, Boazman said, “should write this off at a loss.”
Chase – not Deutsche –should be negotiating with Hall, said John Gallagher, a spokesman for Deutsche. Chase administers the loan, and is responsible for settling it, he said.
“Deutsche Bank was not involved in any way in the decision to seek to evict Mrs. Lee and her daughter,” Gallagher said in an emailed statement. “As trustee, Deutsche Bank does not control decisions or actions related to foreclosures or evictions.”
News about Hall’s predicament, originally broadcast Tuesday night, prompted Carol Beaver to leave her west Cobb home Wednesday morning and deliver a basket of fruit to Hall.
Hearing of Hall’s plight “just broke my heart,” said Beaver “This really puts a face on foreclosures."

- karlai called chase complaining' they said to take the letter to the nearest bank.
- FLGirlThis is INDEED a scam. They stuffed one of these notices in our door and our mortgage isnt even through Chase. Further, their automated system only identifies them as "Chase". Not Chase Credit Card or Chase Mortgage and when I hit 0 to get to customer service it hangs up. They are banking on you (a)not knowing what your acct # is then waiting for you to put in a SSN. THEN they have you. If they can't provided live customer service its a scam. Further, they put it physically in your door to avoid using the Post Office when they makes this mail fraud. Report them!
