I have received calls from this number about five times a day for more than a month. They call as early as 7:20 a.m., but stop at about 9 p.m. It is harassing and annoying ... and they don't seem to understand that sometimes the money is late ... and I becoming nervous and jittery because of all these calls. It has lowered my enjoyment for life and I think there should be limits on creditor harassment!

I receive several calls a day from this number. One time (the only time I answered)a man asked for a woman I don't even know. I told him that, but they keep calling. I don't answer, but the number keeps turning up on my Caller ID. I finally called back and a recording identified the number as a Wells Fargo payment line. I never had any dealings with Wells Fargo and, indeed, told them they had the wrong number that one time. If I pick it up and hang up immediately, it just rings again. The only way not to be disturbed by these people is to turn the ringer off, but then I don't get the calls meant for me. This is telephone harassment. How do I stop it? Can I put them on the Do Not Call list? I don't find any way for my particular phone to block a number. Any ideas?

Yep, its Wells Fargo and they call my number at least 8 - 10 times a day, but never leave a message.  All they do is hang up.  I do believe this is harrasment if they dont actually leave a message of intent...

Why am I getting these calls?!?!  I have no clue what is going on and don't understand why there is no one on the other end of the line.  What can I do to make these calls stop?

The best way to keep these blood suckers from calling you it to have your number changed and don't give out the new one to anycredit companies.  Also, pay the minimal fee each month with you phone carrier to have it unlisted. I know, it might be a pain, but you won't get these calls anymore!  I did it, and only give my phone number to people I WANT to talk to.

Think of yourselfs as lucky.  I have two auto loans through them.  One is due on the 1st, the other on the 7th.

They start calling be on the 20th for the one that's due on the 1st, and the 25th for the one that's due on the 7th...  Aprox 10~12 days BEFORE they are even due. My bank sends out the checks like normal, has for years (Billpay from my banks website)

Most of the time I get 15~25 calls PER DAY from their automated system just to my cell phone. They will not stop calling no matter how many times I tell them to.  They keep asking where I work, but I'm refusing to tell them knowing they will call there as well.

calls 10-12 times a day and night at home and at work. I asked that my name be taken off the list or at the very least rachet down the calls, and LEAVE a message.  I was told the names and numbers are plugged in to some electronic something or other and it is what it is.  Can't wait to get my loan paid off.  I will mark Wells Fargo off my list of people I will do business with.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

i googled this number to find out who was calling us. thanks for the info on who this caller is.  they are calling and leaving weird messages like wanting to know if we still are interested in a ski vacation to try to get us to call them back.  we are in debt consolidation and they have a cease and desist order preventing them from legally calling us.

Have had several loans with Wells Fargo Auto and Wells Fargo Financial.  Yes they do harrass before the bill is due and start calling before a 10, 15 and 30 day late.  I guess they consider this customer service.  I have contacted the location where i originally recd my loan and have asked that if they have a problem to send things to me in writing.

This has not happened and I have contacted my State Attorney General's office already to report it.  Until something is done, my number is on a dialer.

One thing that will shut them up if you do answer and you most certainly do have a right to do...when they begin to tell you "This call is monitored/recorded for quality service"  You can tell them, that is fine, I am also recording this conversation for my own record....they will hang up on you and tell you that you do not have a right to record...yeah right...

I am well versed in what credit rights are....I have an ex wife problem of my husband's that tried to bury my husband after she gave his name for her bills....you also do not have to furnish any numbers to them.  THey have an address and can mail things.

Secondly, as another poster stated, pay the minimum due...I am sorry to sound like somebody's Mom but....next work on your credit so you do not have to finance with subprime [***] like this.

Ugh. We get called by these people at least 6 times a day. I picked up at one point before having seen caller I.D., and when I asked the woman who was calling, she said it concerned "personal business", giving only her name and not the corporation. Rude [***].
