verizon told me the phone number of 1-800-460-0078. I called it and got the etsb "customer service". "Jim" told me I authorized it thru my email. I asked more details. He told me the date, my email and my mother's maiden name, which was wrong. He "gave" me cancellation info(which is probably BS)and I got all that I ripped him a new one and then some. Same thing, different phone number happened on my daughter's cell. WTF??????

I got a charge for 14 from Meteline Tech, Inc, contact phone number 1-800-460-0078. By reading the posts here, I decided to call them first. They said somebody from my house subscribed to the service (BS), but they cancelled the account and will refund the money in 1 or 2 billing cycles. Then I called AT&T and asked them to drop the charges, they put the thing under investigation and told me to pay only the AT&T portion of the bill (substracting the $14), then I asked them to block any 3rd party billing and collect calls, so they did. I think I will sleep better now. Non stopping here I filed a complain with the FTC and my local BBB (dade county, fl).

While on the phone with a Verizon Rep trying to figure out how to get my business phone charges reduced, she told me there was a charge of $13.60 billed from an outside source. I called the number...I was not very nice..and they immediately told me that they would issue credit. When i called the 800 460 0078  I was "transferred" to the company billing me. they told me it was OKd online by a Tanya Graham...I never heard of Tonya Graham. As stated by others here, they were very nice ( and I think I detected someone from India...imagine that) and immediately told me that I would get the refund too.  First Rate Voice Services. She game me her operator code. Then I asked for the number that I had been transferred to . she hesitated a little and then gave me a totally different 866 568 6358. When she asked if she could " do anything else for me" I told her I did not appreciate being ripped off and that I would be reporting this. How many MILLIONS of people  have they done this too. I am pissed!

I had a charge of 14.95 on my bill for 3 months and some of my other elderly friends had the same charge.  This is a fraud company.

Got the same thing you guys have gotten. I think its time we all file a class action lawsuit on the phone companies for allowing such charges without know they are good charges. Anyone know a good class action lawyer...

I had a 14.95 charge on my phone bill. This was supposedly for fax services that were ordered via the internet. The company Network Assurance EFax SVC said the would credit my account. They said it would take 2 billing cycles. We will see. Called Att and had charges removed.

I also got the charge for $14.95, and was told I registered for this service... with an email I've never heard from.  The minute I started talking with the network assurance rep about fraud and filing a complaint with the BBS, she got out a script and began reading.  She is authorized to only refund 3 payments and gave me the email of Network Assurance customer support.  That address is:  support@mynetworkassurance.com.  The address is 2120 S. Reserve St. Missoula, Montana 59801.  I encourage everyone to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  As of now, the BBS does not have any record of this company.

I did not receive any call or voicemail from this number, however they did charge $14.95 + tax on my business Verizon phone bill.  I called the csv number & the rep was very nice.  She cancelled this voicemail "service" and reversed the charges.  She gave me a confirmation number, then said she's had a lot of calls regarding this same issue lately.

The "authorized" charge was via internet with an email address from a doctor's office, we do software sales.  It completely doesn't add up.

I also got charged 14.95, when I called they explained how I had authorized the charge.  I asked for an email confirmation and they said it came from www.findjobsnow-usa.com, funny thing is I'm retired and have no desire to look for a job.

Network Assurance hit my land line phone bill from AT&T for 2 months @ 14.95...  I called and asked for a supervisor, the gal said she had to have authority to access my account first - I told her I wasn't giving them any personal information and they must have it already since they were billing us...a few minutes later the supervisor got on the line (Enrique)  Very nice and polite - asked me for my info, again I told him 'no' so he asked if I would verify - they had everything wrong - except the phone #.  He tried to convince me I'd signed up on a sweepstake site at 5:23 a.m. one morning.  I assured him that their info was very wrong as we did not want nor need, nor approve, and never signed up for their services.  I told him I felt this was a scam from the beginning.  And I told him their racket was all over forums on the internet too.  He quickly offered 3 months refund (I've only been billed twice) but it would take 1-2 months for that to show up.  I also got their physical address and advised him I would be reporting it to the BBB.
I then called AT&T and explained the whole deal to them - they put in a claim for the Network Assurance amounts, put a block on my account for any 3rd party services.  I told AT&T we would not be paying the disputed amount and to please make note of it on our file.
We'll see how this ends up...

I, too, rec'd an add'l service charge of $18.69 for Kool Telecom on my AT&T phone bill.   My husband called AT&T because neither of us recognized the number or the charge.   We found out it is a phone service through the internet that we "had signed up for" at the www.findjobsnow-usa.com website - just like another writer, Moosegramma.   We did no such thing!   We called 1-800-441-9678 for Kool Telecom, LTD and cancelled the supposed service.  We also told them that we did not sign up, that we looked it up on google and saw the notes from many people complaining about not signing up for them, but getting these charges on their phone bill.  The representative I talked to readily credited the charges and gave me a confirmation number.  I called AT&T back and provided this information and advised that I would not pay that charge and it would be credited off in the next statement.

I was billed $14.95 each on my Verizon account for Net Assurance and BillVia Phone. I had the same experience with Net Assurance as everyone else; 3 months refund, etc. The phone number that Verizon provided me for Bill Via Phone is disconnected. Apparently you don't have to provide the phone companies with valid business info in order to use them as a 3rd party billing agent. Absolutely ridiculous!
Net Assurance provided me with a name and address of a person who signed up for www. findjobsnow-usa using my phone number. I wonder if they made that up too?

I also received a bill from Network Assurance Inc - I was being billed an Efax SVC Monthly Fee for $14.95 for 11/9/10 and 11/17/10.  The title of their charges was Enhanced Billing Services.  Really?  I called the number they provided 1 888 568-6361 which is different than the #'s posted here.  I talked to a gentleman with a heavy asian accent and thru the language barrier, he told me that I had signed up for jobs.com.  Really?? I told the gentleman that I am RETIRED!!  and in no need of a job.  At that time he said he was going to credit me the $29.90 and cancel the fictitious account. I have never been to jobs.com and I just wonder how many people just pay their phone bill without looking really hard at the amount?  I also notified my local carrier, AT&T and thy were very helpful in resolving the problem.  No complaints there.  I was told by the AT&T rep not to pay the $29.90 and it will drop off by the next billing period.  I just upsets me how crooked these people can be!

The Network Assurance billing is starting up again.  Be sure to check your phone bills for unwanted charges.  Mine was $14.95 on my AT&T bill.
