- r2rThis number is calling my business line non-stop.
- goofeeThis number is calling my business line non-stop. I don't usually look at the caller id before answering, and every time get silence when I answer their calls. Finally a live person was there when I picked up. He said he is from Bank of America calling to offer me their credit card! I told them to stop calling. Regardless they called again the very next day. I am reporting them.
- C B Stall replies to james| 1 replyWhen they call me I say I will get the person they want. I put the phone down and just do nothing. One time I forgot they were on the line and 2 hours later they we still holding. Boy are they domb....
- New YorkerHow do you report them? I got two calls on the biz line yesterday, one today, all hang-ups. I thought the DNC last didn't support biz lines.
- Caller: Scumballs
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ahoierI received a call from this number today, I can't remember how they "greeted", but they mentioned something about a business...
This line isn't a business, so I told them to add this number to their do not call list.
As previously reported, I think they have some human detection device on their end...because I pick up the phone, say Hello, and it took like 3 seconds for them to respond, and then they said "Hello"...lol.- Caller: didn't ask, my guess is Bank of America
- Call type: Unwanted
- spameeThese jerks have been calling our residential line multiple times a day, all hours of the day, for weeks. The one time I answered I got silence, and hung up. I'm already on the national Do Not Call list... I am a Bank of America customer but I specifically filled out their "privacy preferences" form not to receive any marketing from them, so I'm not sure whether this company is really connected with them or not. They're annoying the hell out of me, though, and I'm going to report the number on the FCC web site (for what good it will do).

- ACI just talked to Bank of America about this problem...it's NOT BoA, just some stupid scam credit card company. Apparently, some people are dumb enough to give out their date of birth, social security number, and bank account number out to strangers.
Do not give them any information.
I have no idea how to make the phone calls stop. BoA gave mea number for the Victim's Assistance Unit: 1(866) 231-5147. Open 7am-9pm. Give it a shot?- Caller: Unknown
- ACALSO, they don't KNOW what type of account you hold, they are calling random numbers and asking if that person has a specific type of account, then they run with whatever information you give them.
"Are you interested in our business credit card?"
"I don't have a business account."
"Well, if you own a business, you need to hear about this card!" etc, etc - ZoeI've gotten a number of calls from this number. I've started keeping track of all the hang up numbers. It is very frustrating especially when I have put a client on hold to answer these hang up calls. I would like to know who to register a complaint with so that these calls would stop. I have a list of about 30 callers just since the end of July! This is harassment!
- Caller: Bank of America

- moobieI have received several calls to my personal cell phone from 1.800.460.0659.
11:24am on 10/03/2007
9:23am on 10/03/2007
4 calls on 09/28/2007
3 calls on 09/27/2007
1 call on 09/25/2007 (this was the first call)
I answered my cell phone on the most recent call. A woman asked to speak to the owner of the business. I informed her that she was calling a personal cell phone and she quickly apologized and hung up on me. I called the back and a male answered the phone and said "Card services." I asked which bank he was associated with and he told me Bank of America.- Caller: Bank of America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DRThis "boiler room" operation calls, calls, calls, and calls. Day after day, week after week. Yes, when I do talk to them, then identify themselves with Bank of America. I reject them, hang-up, hit "2", etc.. But there is no stopping them. This can't be a BOA operation--way too non-professional. This telemarketer is probably using lousy software to create dial-up numbers. I guess I'll have to block them, but that's a pain, too. Where are these fools really calling FROM? Argentina, India?
- Caller: They SAY B.O.A.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ianReceived a call form them. I am on the DNC list, but thought I'd see what it was about. She claimed it was Bank of America with O% interest for one year etc. I asked what was involved. They wanted my social & the company tax i.d. number. I said I would not do that via phone and requested mailed info or a website address. She said 'oh uh, I don't really have that, goodbye." It's got to be a scam, fishing for identity theft info.
- Caller: Alleged to be Bank of America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jmtoday they just call every hour or two. I don't pick up because I figure an 800 number must be a marketer
- MadPhone - I got you800-460-0659 belonds to NCOGROUP.com.
recvd call from them on 10-5-07, selling BofA crap. Told them they were calling a phone number on the national do not call list. They responded they would remove the number. Then I requested that they provide me with a copy of the BofA do not call policy and the one from there own company. (There required by federal law to give this too you) Guy on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. Told him that every time I asked and he refused it was $500.00 in small claims to me. (streched the truth on that one) Finally he got so flustered he put on a so called supervisor who tried to give me the run around, until he relizied that he was getting deeper and deeper in trouble. He ended up taking my address to send out a copy of the do not call policies, and I got him to fess up the name of the company he worked for.
800-460-0659 belonds to NCOGROUP.com. They are one of the worst telemarketers out there, not to mention collection agency. Hope this info helps everyone sue them in Small claims court. I am filing next week.- Caller: B of A
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TampaTomCLAIMS TO BE BANK OF AMERICA...but I suspect fraud...numerous calls with the same offer despite continuously declining!! Also, they alwasys ask for business owner or decision maker, which BOA would never do since they have our names on file.....scary world.
- matt replies to StephenI actually talked to the person and had them fill out an application. While he was filling it out I called the callerid 800 back on my other line. They answered as a different company name sooo that concerned me to say the least. Once the application was completed I called B of A business card services and told them the story..asked them to look up the reference number of my application that they guy gave me and it was in their system..so in short this is NOT a phishing scam. They outsource their telemarketing to another company - they are a bit strange as I too got a call and dead silence.. then got another call minutes later and was connected to a person. Though i would pass this info along to people.
- GWI have been receiving numerous calls from this number at my office -- and knowing that no one would be calling me from an 800 number, I have typically not picked up. Today, I did pick up -- and a man asked for "the business owner." I asked whom he was trying to reach, and he just asked again for "the business owner." I asked him again whom he was trying to reach, and he hung up.
