    Uppin my Credit
I just got off the phone with a Brandy representative. Turns out I had an account that was turned in I didnt know about. She was calling on behalf of CCB Credit Services. She was very polite and sociable. When asked to repeat who she was and what company, she repeated it in a professional manner. She explained who she was what she was doing every step of the way. I had no problems with her at all. I was also transfered to a Mike Hadley, to verify payment info. He was also polite. They even went as far as to tell me how I could obtain a letter of payment in full after the transaction was over.

Got a call that showed up as unlisted (000-000-0000) asking for one of my family members.  I asked what it was about and that's when it got RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL/DEFENSIVE.
"Melissa" told me to have the family member call 1800-473-7994 at her extension 3439.
When I asked her to identify the company or what it was about, saying that there would be NO return call unless I knew, she hung up on me.
Called the number, told another person that I got a call from the 1800 number and that the representative was either disconnected or hung up on me before she could finish explaining.
Repeated that to 2 or 3 other pp, and then hello, I was speaking with "Melissa" again!
Told her we must've been disconnected...or that she hung up.  She was a bit uneasy and said she hung up after saying what she needed to.
I asked to speak with her supervisor.  He told be they were a "business" based in Springfield, IL.
I said there would be no return call unless he clarified, and hung up.

I regret that I didn't immediately hang up.
Next time, I will immediately ask who is calling and hang up before the harrassment.

Next time I will ask "Are you trying to get me to verify that the name you asked for is residing at this number?"  And make it clear that I am expecting a letter in the mail within 5 days clearly stating the correct name and company info.

Hoping this doesn't continue.  Especially in the middle of dinner.

sorceress... surely you ARE better than everyone else.  bad economy, being layed off after decades of loyal service... barely able to feed your family... clearly this only happens to those who deserve it, and you are not one of those!!!  so you be sure to make a point and belittle all of us vagrants because that is the only way to make yourself feel slightly important during your miserable existence.

They were calling my mother's house for someone with the last name same as mine.  When I returned a call to them the lady asked when did I receive a call I told her I didn't my mother did.  I gave her a reference number and she asked if I were Deanna Norris, I told her no and told her my name then I asked her to spell the name in case she was saying my name wrong.  She spelled Deanna not my name.  She asked if I were Deanna I told her no.  She said they would remove the number from their database.  They wouldn't tell me what it was in reference to since my name was not Deanna.

I suspect they are a debt collector.  They did tell my mom that it was important to talk to Deanna as they were going to cut off whatever it was Deanna had.  All my bills are paid so I have no idea who Deanna is so I hope whatever she has she knows it is being cutoff.

I just wanted to add something to this.....I have been divorced for five years and I keep receiving phone calls without no messages from this number for my ex-husbands first exwife. The debt or whatever it is has nothing to do with me nor has it ever and that woman has never even set foot in this house.
So yes calling others is harrassment.

So you work for them.  Nice that during your busy day of harassing people you have time to post BS on an obscure website designed for people who want to know what a**hole is calling them 8 times a day about nothing important

These people have called three days in a row with that automated notice. I live in Alaska. The calls are for my X in Florida.  Today they were spoken to and said it had nothing to do with T mobile. When my daughter called them from Florida they TOLD her it was for T Mobile.
