They took $19.95 out of my account the day before my paycheck cleared and the bank slapped a 50.00 over-withdrawal fee. I typed in this number and this website came up. I called the number to find out what this is and the lady although nice gave me a load of s**t and when I told her I wanted to cancel she asked for my name and address but when I told her my home address she could not find me but my work address was in the system and the only thing that was sent to my job was Buzz Cuts the Alt Rock CD on TV that I bought off the comercials. I am calling the bank and having the charge stopped.

Bank of America says they piggy-back into our credit card from a prior purchase we made.  I bought something online 2/16.  On 3/16 is when my first $16.95 charge appeared.  BOA says that the original vendor may have something in fine print that is signing us up for a 30 day free trial and after that this coupon club/membership services group will charge our account that was original used for a legit purchase unless we call and cancel.  The only problem is that nobody knows they were signed up for this so called benefit.  Bank of America was able to get 5 months of charges reversed with no problem.  I have also read on various sites that this company is not very honest about refunding if you chose to cancel.  Be careful about changing credit card numbers.  I was told by BOA that this is considered a "preauthorized charge" so that means it can and will follow to a new account if the original one is closed.

This call came on Friday night at 9:15 p.m. This person talked so fast it was hard to understand what he wanted. He told me I could cancel at any time but when I called the next day to cancel they were not open. I!m calling my bank to stop any charges on my bank card. Please stop this kind of scam. I am a senior and will report this to AARP.

As far as I can tell these people are involved with "Budget Savers" and was given this number to call to "cancel". I didn't call them, instead I called my credit card company and flagged Budget Savers. Hopefully this will do the trick as well as signing up for the National Do Not Call list.

I saw some other post that said "Value Plus" showed up on their card statements. I'd watch out for that name too.

They are doing the same thing to me. I have no idea who or what they are but they have been taking money from me for the last 3 months and won't tell me nothing when I call. I stopped being nice I demanded my money back and told them I knew they were a fraud and that I had (and I have) turned this over to my lawyer. This is just wrong that people do this. 1-800-475-1942 is a RIP-OFF....

I too got scammed by this company.

I called demanding a refund.  They sent me a form to request a refund within two weeks.

I listed the dates and amounts they charged by credit card and addeded up the total on the refund request.

I listed the following reasons for why I should receive a refund.

    1.  Your company would not tell me what I was a member of or where my money was going.

    2.  I am receiving no value for this membership.

    3.  I do not remember voluntarily joining this organization.

This company reversed the charges on my credit card this month.

I would first call and wait for the refund form.

The address to send a request for a refund is

    Comsumer Affairs
    Attention From C/A
    PO Box 658

    Good Luck

I noticed a charge on my credit card for $16.95, but thought it was a charge that had not been put on my bill before I paid the balance off.
I paid that statement thinking the above.

When I got my last statement this charge was again on it and I called and  they told me that I must have signed up for the membership when I made an on line purchase.   I have not used this particular card for any on line purchases and I have no idea where the got my card number.

They are supposed te be sending me a form to fill out for a complete refund.  Will post any response that I might get on this problem.

I was called by this number early in the morning. The man talked so fast I could barely understand him.  He was real sarcastic and ego-tistical. He told me I won all this stuff (gas cards, grovery cupons, wal-mart cupons edt..) and that all I had to do was enter my birthdate on my key pad on my ohine. I was tired and annnoyed with him so I figured why not, if I am sent stuff I will just cancel. Well, I never recieved a thing- and my account is being charged repeatedly. I have been charged a total of 4 times so far. The last one was for budget savers. I called the number and there was no ring tone (as if they are trying to confuse people and hang up). I got a lady, she was rude and unprefessional. I have been consulting an advisor and he said unfortunally it is not illegal, due to technocalities. This is rediculous and these people should all go to jail!

Here it is Christmas Day and I pull my bank account up via Internet and see a pre-authorized check number that is over 3000 numbers out of order in the check sequence I am using. It is for 19.95 from Value Plus, with this phone number above on it. Now how in the heck do they get a pre authorized check without me ordering anything or even knowing who they are.
Since this is a holiday, this transaction may still be pending in the a.m. and maybe I can block it, but the sad thing is, they have my bank account number, not my credit card number.

Don't buy anything, including gift cards, without asking if it includes any type of "special" offer.
It's all a scam. Think how many people never catch the charges.

I also caught these people taking $19.95 at a shot off of me, they took upto $83 dollors in miscellaneous charges last month out of my account. The guy on the phone tried telling me that they only take the money out that they are'nt the one's I ordered from. I said ordered, I did'nt order anything. I threatened him on the phone with a lawsuit and that money was back into my account within 3 days. :) He told me to calm down, yeah right. Guess they will think twice before touching my account again!!

I never Got a call but they started charging my account with $19.95, I guess it is a new scam thinking people will not feel $19.95 disapearing from their account.
looking at all the other complaints it seems like everyone got hit with a small amount.
I wonder if the Bank has anything to do with this ..... I am at TD bank .
can all the other people tell me what banks they are in or check maybe it is a cam related to TD Bank.
