- John in OregonI did not get a phone call, I actually called walk Fit http://www.walkfit.com/, and wanted to try a pair of there inserts to relieve foot pain. During the sign up process they indicated an option of receiving a $50 gift card with a $20 gas rebate program through a separate company "Value Plus" for $24.95 a month. They indicated I would receive the information from this company in the mail along with my two gift cards. They also indicated that with this mailing I would receive information on how to cancel my subscription.
Well I returned the shoe inserts, which by the way where garbage!!!!! They also indicated that I had to make a call and tell them to cancel my subscritions with them (auto mailing of new inserts every so many months) and indicate that I was sending the inserts back, and I did this.
But, I forgot all about the other company and the gift cards, partially due to my failing memory, and the fact I never received the information in the mail from Value plus. So, I am partially at blame here, but the real scam is the fact they never sent the information out to me. This is how most of there monies are made, 1. knowing that people will forget the offer they signed up for, 2. never mailng the info out, etc. before it is to late. It is plainly a scam.
I will be canceling my card, and reporting to the state of OR.- Caller: Walk Fit Shoe Inserts

AKA Gulf Bank Inc.
AKA Golf Bay Magazine - John the BaptistI got two billings from Funsource and Valueplus on my bank statement. I have never talked to anyone at this number and don't know how they got my information. I'm going to have to have the bank block any transactions from these companies. I may try to get a refund, but it doesn't look promising. What I don't understand is how this can go on for so long!! From the dates of the complaints, it seems this has been going on for years. It would seem there could be some law they have violated and be shut down by the MN attorney general's office. I'd love to see some attorney who got scammed start a class action suit for huge damages.......maybe enough to put them out of business!

- jamieMy husband ordered from Sensa, sent it back within the 30 days allowed. He also canceled all the other stuff that they offer you for "free", but on our May statement there was a $24.95 charge from Value Plus, so he called and canceled Again, or so we thought, I called the bank to balance my check book and had a $24.95 pending, after calling the 800 number to the bank we found out it was from Value Plus, they had taken more money out of the account, to which I did not know nor was I prepared for thus causing me to be overdrawn in my account. When I called they cancelled it that day and said they would refund $49.90, keep in mind nsf charges are more than 49.90 on more than one item. They told me they could not make my account rite again. My husband then called from his phone and they told him his had cancelled in April, so then why was we still being charged??!!!! They owe me $158.in NSF charges to which they say is not their problem and they cant refund the money!!!!!!! Think the Better Business Bureau is going to here from us. I cancelled my debit card and ordered another one. We will see what happens next.

I did not authorized anything like that, so I called the 18004751942 and received a voice mail that the company was closed on weekends and to go to the website: www.programstop.com. I called that number and it asked for my name and my telephone number, now I bet i will receive telephone calls from them.

- Mary GuffeyI just bought a set of topstyler curlers a few days ago andsomeone just called to confirm the sale and also offer me a budget savers offer with $100.00 in gas vouchers as a bonus and will charge me $1.00 and $24.95 monthly if I don't call in to cancel within 14 days. I told them okay at first and then they put someone one else on to verify my acceptance and record it. While they did that he was trying to talk so fast so I wouldn't understand him or get the number to cancel it. I made him repeat it and slow down then at the same time I was on my computer and looking up budget savers and scams. This site and all other complaints popped up and the same number they gave me for budget savers, 800-475-1942. So I told him never mind that it was a scam and I better not see any charges on my account. They didn't like me changing my mind at all. I did call the main number back that they called me from and the 1942 number again and I asked for the Topstyler company number and I called them too. The lady told me that the other company does do the verify calls but also sells their budget savers stuff too and other products as mentioned above, and the gas vouchers comes from them not Top Tyler like they to make it sound. So needless to say...I won't be getting my gas vouchers I guess. Hope this help ls other with this problem.
