I got a call from this phone # at 8:22 PM on my cell and they didn't leave a message.  I don't answer calls when I don't know who they are.  If it was legitimate, they would have left a message.

I just did too and then googled the number; looks like it is a dte phone number, so i'm guessing it is an automated customer service number and that it has to do with my bill.

I also received a cal from 800-477-4747. I did not answer because, same thing, if I don't know thw caller I do not answer. They did not leave a message. My only enegy bill is DTE electric, and it is up to date, so I do not understand the phone call.

I just got the same phone call -- they must be making their rounds.  I JUST paid my bill today, so that is weird.

It is an automated called asking you to tie the dogs because the meter man is coming in the next two days.

this is DTE calling to say they will be out reading meeters and to keep pets contained.

It's DTE saying they will be in our area in the next two days too read the meter, and please keep all dogs locked up. I don't have any !!! I've gotten this call for the last two years, each month. I've called and I've sent mail..... yet they still call..... it's not funny when your older to run to the phone to have that bs !!!

DTE apologizing for service outage from storm

Received call at 12:47 pm, they left a message that stated they are DTE Energy and that they would be in my area soon to read meter and would I keep all dogs put up so they could do their job reading meter.

The number is DTE and they say they will be in the area in next 2 days reading meters and keep your dogs securefor the safety of the meter readers.

MESSAGE FROM DTE, TO PLEASE CHAIN UP ANY AND ALL VICIOUS ANIMALS IN YOUR YARD. A CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ON YOUR PROPERTY IN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS SCOPING OUT ANY VUNERALBILITIES TO YOUR HOME. THEY ALSO REQUEST THAT YOU FERTILIIZE YOUR LAWN AND KEEP IT NEAT IN APPERANCE THIS SUMMER TO HELP KEEP EVERYBODIES PROPERTIES VALUES UP. ALSO REPORT ANY SHADY CHARACTERS THAT DON'T BELONG IN THE AREA.

DTE calling to say the meter reader will be in the area soon, so don't leave your pets out so they can harm the reader. You know, common sense stuff for conscious pet owners.

What can I do if I let my dog out and the meter reader failed to close the gate back and my dog got out and I can not find her I been driving around no signs of the dog no where what can I do or who can I call it's not right for them to do that they want us to keep them in the reader failed to close the gate back?

This phone is 1 week oid and no one has the number. It could be someone at DTE has call forwarding turned on.

This company continues to call me for a service that I do not have. They have verified in their system that Ive never had an account with them... so again.. I JUST called them AGAIN to ask that they remove my # from their calling system UUUGGHHH!!

I got a call from them, no voicemail.  This is a brand new cell phone I've had for a week, and I don't even have DTE Energy.  I live in the 989 area code.  They are a bunch of idiots.

Same thing here, received call yesterday and again today, didn't answer. Left a VM. Deleted it as I do not have DTE service.
